Danny Boy v unlucky to somehow find the right middle after potting a red to left corner. Great chance Cabby.
|

By:
4-4

Wowsers, Danny Boy misses match ball. Never in my wildest imagination did I think the pink didn't go. Cabby can only tie.
|
|
By:
Cabby needs 14 pts in fouls to tie
|
|
By:
5-4 Danny Boy.
That could have been soooooooo much more straight forward than it was with some more favourable run of the ball, but at last a decent result on the day. |

Woolly v Baz is a very interesting start to today. Woolly is scoring better than ever this season (albeit still down a tad on Baz) and has a higher frame S/R and better recency numbers (even before his demolition of Dave in R1). Baz still edges a couple of other metrics, including a 3-2 H2H after the meaningless matches are stripped away, so I'd stop short of calling him the wrong fav, but I do think Baz is short enough at sub 1.5. The only question mark is how Woolly's form tends to tail off after R1 of events!
All the numbers, bar one, suggest Zhang should be a comfortable winner against the Milkman in this session, but Zhang did his level best on Monday to show why he still can't be trusted (currently), with some inexplicable misses as the winning line approached from a 4-1 lead. He did get it done in the end but was rather fortunate to get the chance. Zhou's having a horror season by his usual standards, though there have been a few green shoots of late that things might be turning around (rarely appears on the TV tables these days, so anything gleaned has to be from the scorecard). His recency numbers are better than Kyren's, though that is the only metric where it's close. H2H 4-1 in favour of Kyren, though Zhou did win 6-0 the last time the pair met. Kyren was also thoroughly unimpressive in his R1 match on Monday. |

1-1 Woolly, 2-0 JB, 1-1 Zhang

2-1 Baz, 2-1 JB barring snookers, 3-0 Zhou barring a snooker (REALLY bad miss of the red that would have made sure)

Excellent snooker from Kyren. Nothing more than Zhou deserves if he misses it, TBH
|
|
By:
Which he doesn't. Back in another one, though

By:
Kyren can now steal

|
By:
WOW! Kyren gets his chance and misses the yellow!
