He lets a good chance go, and Stan levels, 5-5

6-5 He.
Funny match, really. Three big swings, but credit to Stan for getting his head back down after making his two glaring ones. |

Zhou, Vafaei, Thep. All playing at Q House Darlington and all to varying degrees serving up shyte this past while. Just pure coincidence or are they putting something in the water up there

Zhou's frame conversion rate, for how well he scores, is appalling this season. Theppy's also below where it should be (but I do think that's just him). Conversely, Hoss is scoring so badly, he's actually winning more frames than he should be as a result

Interesting mate. Between the three of them, they've managed 2 last 16 appearances in ranking events so far this season. Zhou did get quarters in Shanghai, but he's the one i'd class as in or heading for a mini-slump. This time last season, he'd been in a sf and 2qfs. They're three guys really should be looking to get into top 16 and push on.

Hawkins look value later. Ronnie , to me ,is coming towards the end of the road now. Just thought I'd split this out. The H2H is ugly, 17-2 to Ronnie, if you strip out the CL meetings. Put him under pressure these days, though, and he will crumble. Think a lot of it will come down to how Baz starts. Can't think of too many examples of him coming back from a way behind. |

|
|
By:
My Ronnie table pics froze when he broke down on chance #2, but the noise on the other table told the story. 6-4 Baz barring snookers (from 1-4)
Zhao v unlucky to knock a red into the left middle when going into the pack off the black. |

That's a lie, it was never worse than 1-3 in Ronnie's favour.
|
|
By:
Zhao had a chance, didn't take it, 5-4 Shon barring snookers
|
|
By:
Zhao fortunate to not screw in-off on frame ball, though with it being a red, Shon would have still needed a snooker anyway. 5-5 barring snookers.
