Nice one mate. Think i saw a very big chunk being traded on Scotty at 1.03 and hope you got a bit of that. Was thinking anyone buying cash on Scott even at 5-3 up probably didn't deserve to keep it! It's in better hands now.
Great result for her for sure, definitely thought she was an upgrade on the female players we'd seen so far but was in no way confident we'd see it show anytime soon, so this week been a surprise for sure. Hope she can build on that now, whatever happens today. |

Haven't looked in any great detail today but one that instantly caught my eye was Hoss v Page. Prtobably two guys i'd normally swerve but i've been moderately encouraged by a few of Jacksons showings lately while Hoss just continues to frustrate and just looks to be a bit down on himself lately for whatever reason. Not much in it on season rankings, just favour Page to get it done today.

Cheers, boys. Laid just shy of a grand around 1.13 pre kick off. Managed to trade that to £250 green either way when they were pulled off. IMHO she should have certainly been no bigger than 15 at that stage (she was the only one scoring, had been unlucky with one split when on a 50 odd break, and arguably should have won another when she just pressed a bit too hard). Stuck up £5k at 1.03 not really expecting anybody to take it, but they did. Even got £250 or so matched at 1.02! Gave a bit back along the way (have had the most horrendous run with final frames where I've held decent positions on players that I was determined this would not be for nought!) - would have been more if there'd been more money about, TBH. Ended up £3.5k on Bai, circa £2k on Scotty D, which I'll happily take in this sort of market!

Great stuff mate
 I checked in first and saw Scotty trading 1.15 and figured he must be at least one ahead, and possibly on verge of going 2 up. But it was 1-1 and he'd just potted first ball in 3rd frame, so had a bit at 1.15-1.18. Nice to get it, but feck it, i've lost enough on the likes of mink past few years that i'm just getting back a small bit of those losses! |

I know we've had the conversation many times before (even recently I remember quoting the numbers when Reanne was playing and Fouldsy was speaking about the girls) that they don't (didn't!) score, and that was the problem. I haven't checked, but I imagine only Zhao will be scoring at a better 50 rate this week. I can only think someone had a chat with her or gave her some coaching at Champion of Champions last week, because the turnaround since has been extraordinary. None of the girls has ever got anywhere close to producing these sorts of numbers. Yes, she's only played mid-table opponents at best so far, but she's shown real balls as well in the two deciders with JamieJ and Scotty. The difference today, is that Jack *could* just keep her off the table. |

I watched her a few times on the women's tour last year and it definitely looked like she was a clear upgrade on what we'd seen previously but then again, I'd said same about mink and that didn't pan out (or yet anyway!). The leap from WWS to main tour is massive, especially in terms of playing conditions, so it's a credit to her if she's adapting this quickly and can build from this, regardless of what happens tonight. I did tentatively speculate whether she could retain her card but not sure i actually believed it. Feels a bit more credible now, but there'll be pressure too so has to keep momentum going. One of the issues for women up to now has been getting good practice time on proper tables but with her academy set up, that doesn't seem an issue for her and I'd say experience of CoC was very useful. Something just clicked this week and she is a talent. Still took on way too many mon-percentage shots for my liking so that's a big area still to work on, i think.

Yeah, even in the W I winced a few times, but she kept potting them!
It'll be interesting to see what happens next anyway (I don't necessarily mean today). I can't see anything that looks massively wrong today. I think Wang might have a future, but Baz is a bit of an upgrade on what he's met so far. Be lucky, whatever you do! |

Thanks for the insight Lats - you've done a lot more trading there than I anticipated would be possible in these markets. I saw the 1.03/1.04 and thought there might be some fairly cheap upside in that - but I knew I wouldn't still be around whenever they brought them back on.
