Ridiculously fortuitous way to get in, but boy did he follow it up well.  6-5 Xiao.  What a day he's had.

That green was a beautiful piece of cueing, especially given the circumstances ! Hope you fared well Lats !

Snooker is a pin job these days, never ever known it so open. You're getting great odds pre tournament but trying to find a winner is similar to a 16 runner handicap at Chester.

The tables in China and these Rassons are definitely levelers, but Xiao's (and to a lesser extent Wakelin's) progression this season is hard to argue with.  Amazing what a difference a bit of belief makes.  Same with Zhang last season.

The most interesting thing about this week has been the number of frames won to 0.  13 yesterday alone (if you include the one where Ronnie came back to the table 85 behind with only 51 on, just to get table time).

Beautiful!  Nowhere near as good today as yesterday, but still far too good for Tubbs, 6-3 Xiao!

Interesting Tubbs interview, admitting that he's doing his own head in by being sooooo negative.  Says he's going to play more like he did in this match for the coming few tournaments as an experiment.

Xiao becoming a player of the season potentially - Ronnie, Selby, Allen in a row - not many could.

Indeed, especially from 3-0 down v both Ronnie (BO7) and Selby.

Yes even more impressive and surprising to manage that.

Not exactly out of the blue though this tourny, given his other recent results, a win and other top end finishes.

Any views Robbo v Williams tonight?

I gone for backing Robbo here, mostly based on previous H2H in combination with available prices.

Everything says Robbo for me, and no "opponent excuse" tonight re fatigue from having a short break between matches earlier in the week. Think Robbo's a good few ticks too big.

MJW not beaten him away from the CL since 2017.

Sometimes you look back at a bet and spot something that you missed, but I still stand by what I said beforehand.  Just one of those nights.

Fair play to the guy, played Robbo off the table.

Last three frames must have been fun viewing for those 1.06 backers - it's game back on at 5-3 only.

Xiao is the 'comeback kid' isn't he??

Came from 0-3 down vs two former world champs (!) and won, now here from 5-0 down looks very dangerous again!

He's played well, but absolutely everything has gone for him tonight and nothing has at all for Xiao.
