5-4 LMEY. Gurb had a few chances, got in with an excellent red at the start of the main one, but black and pink out of commission didn't help. Doesn't look completely useless.

Looking forward to seeing Wang Yuchen this morning for the first time. Beat Hicks, Kendrick and Dylboy in the final three rounds of Q-School #1 to earn his card, so not a total mug. Based on that, he doesn't appear to score very heavily, so he presumably must have a bit more craft to his game.
Also interested in Revesz, after his 5-0 demolition of Davy last week. And early-season Butch can be a bit flaky. Wu does have a shocker in him but should be beating Rory, TBH. |

Fair to say it was an inauspicious start for Wang (DDK on a dump to the top cush and then an in-off in playing safe), but he settled to make 60 after a couple of Ali mistakes. Didn't put the frame away, though.

Gets back in after a failed safety from Ali and makes no mistake at the second time of asking, 1-0 Wang.
Not always easy to tell on BFLV, but he looks a tall lad. Had no issues cueing over the pack in the middle of the frame. |

LOL, 35 on, Sonia 35 ahead, snookered on the last red. Plays at it hard off the side cush, catches it a glancing blow, white flies in, followed by the red, meaning Tommy Ford needs a snooker even after the penalty points. Needless to say, he did not look impressed
