Qs start tomorrow at 1000. BO7s, 2x tables, 4x waves each day until Saturday night.
Hendry reappears in the second wave tomorrow and is 2/1+ against Mohammed Asif, who is far from a world beater. Defeat, and you surely have to be questioning why he's still bothering at all (if you're not already).

Always going to be a big ask for He to come out and play well again so soon after last night's dramatic victory, which will have surely exhausted him mentally! I know I feel knackered this week. Don't really see why anybody from the last tranche of evening matches should have had to be first up today.... Why couldn't Tommy Ford v Xiao have been on this afternoon instead?
Agreed Lat - must be mentally all over the place The high of winning that match - prob didn't get much sleep - to be back again first on in the afternoon.
MJW winning in under 1hr 45mins with an interval -very impressive.
That was as good as it gets ! Looked invincible pretty much !

Was hoping for a Lawler - Dale exibiton match for the rest of the afternoon. Anyway onto this evening.

Went out thinking Ford going 3-2 up - come back to see losing on the black.
The whole match been like this - one gets in and you think that's it - then they let the other in.
Should have played the pink there and pretty much guaranteed the respot

Would say amazed he missed the green but it's been happening like this all evening - well done Ford for clearing -- 1.01 in the game.
Not surprised, TBF! That pink would have been very smelly without the red coming back down the table and nudging the cueball a bit closer!
All down to that red Jack took on when there was about a 5/1 chance of getting on a colour IF he potted it....
Looking at the numbers, 5-4 massively flattered Jack
He made 2 50 breaks in 9 frames to Selby's 4 50s and 1 ton.
I thought that was a positive Latalomne. 2 Breaks of 50+ and still won 4 frames. Shows a different side to him. Knocked in loads of centuries all week. Last frame he won was excellent.

Would be interested to see the potting and other stats from that match. Looked around a bit but found nothing.
MJW on the drift this morning and now there's £7k looking to lay him @ 1.71!
That "chunk" to lay MJW has been moving up a tick all morning to get matched - it started at 1.64 - currently 1.72 
Hoss never beaten him over longer distance match, though won their last H2H (shootout final). Interesting that someone feels he's a lump on job though.
The h2h and the lifetime frame v frame certainly makes 1.75 look way too big for MJW imo - but it's a small/dated sample size, plus it's snooker, so anything could happen! - interesting to see how the prices now move when in-play, as almost the entire pre-match money looks to consist of just one big player trying to lay MJW.
After yday matches - MJW looked great - Vafaei first 4 frames especially struggled. Price does look rather big - but this is another day. I thought Villa/ Brighton would be close!

MJW is 1.01 if anything like the form of yesterday !
Especially if Hossein keeps spraying errors and has no temperament
Oddly Willimas passes up easy chance to dominate and now looks vulnerable...

Missed all of yesterday and only saw bits of that first session there. Selby done quite well to be as close as 5-3 from what I saw. Hopefully game on tonight.
Neither player will be happy with that score at HT - Selby because he was pants early on and gifted a lead, Williams because he knows he's let Selby back at him again...classic Selby of course to do that...
7-5, needless to say, massive frame that was going into the MSI !

MJW played a lapse safety as soon as he came back from his toilet break and now he's in a tight match again !
What a clearance to go 9-7 up. Selby went 1.5x during that frame
Would have been best of 3 had Selby taken the frame, yet 1.5x before he had even taken it
Good break from Selby - didn't see him missing that pink - but MJW only gets one in reply
