Presumably because Judd played like Mark King in the game with dodgy betting patterns!

Jimmy getting to crucible would be massive story and wouldn't completely rule it out though even with recent revival, still think he'll need a big helping hand from the draw.

Cheers for that stat lats, knew it would be high alright but sobering to see it confirmed. I guess apart from reaching a premier final, tour champs or "judgement" day of the world qualies, Bo17 or beyond is not going to trouble you. I'd even imagine there are pros who go through their entire careers never playing longer than BO11.

Yeah, the caveat I should have added to the above is "within that timeframe".  As you say, I am sure there will be examples of players who never go beyond BO11.

White would have to beat Fu or O'Donnell, then Noppon and then Guodongover long matches highly unlikely.

Yeah, highly unlikely I'd agree but not impossible like hendry I'd say and i haven't seen the latter's draw yet. At least it seems he's turning up this time.

Ha, just checked and hendry has got James Cahill, there's still bad blood there isn't there?

Laugh  Brilliant!

Cahill played quite well last week.  Certainly well enough to duff Hendry up the way he's played on the rare occasions he's appeared this season.

Always got impression with Cahill that it was as much a question of discipline and application as ability, bit like Sam Craigie. Can definitely see him doing a number on Stevo and taking great pleasure in it.

Absolutely, mate.  You don't beat Ronnie up at the Crucible if you're lacking in the ability department.

What was the beef between Cahill and Hendry?
By:

When: 29 Mar 23 12:06
Hendry was married to Cahill's aunt, apparently he wasn't exactly forthcoming with the help and advice to a young Cahill. You know what families are like, probably more to it than that.

There was also a bit of an incident with drink driving involving Cahill and Hendry's son....  Whoops

Yeah i suspect there were just family issues in the background and bad blood arose out of it but don't know more than that. Curious that Cahill learned his trade in the "Stephen Hendry Snooker Club" in Preston which was run by his mum but which beyond the name his then uncle doesn't seem to have had much to do withConfused

Looks like i'm going to have to back K.Wilson now as well, would never have foreseen that but new cue and probably playing the most flawless snooker ever seen in a match, then you have no choice but to back him, plus i couldn't bare 2 weeks watching it and he wins as i find him hard to watch..Has everything onside age, form of his life will likely win sundays final as well..Another Graeme Dott incoming..

Tomorrow's BFLV matches are now up.

HTF Rebecca Kenna's game gets shown is truly beyond me.  Oh yeah, it's because she's got a fanny.  54 frames played this season, hasn't made a single 50.  35 frames played last season, made 1 break over 50.  She is horrific.

The more it look at it the more i think O'Sullivan will win that top half of the draw is all attacking players,if he could handpick who he'd like to play he's got them all Ding,Murphy,Trump,Lisowski,Williams it's worked out perfect for him..The bottom half looks horrendous long drawn out matches, heavy fav whoever gets through the top half unless someone can demolish the bottom half, that looks very unlikely i can also see the two Wilsons getting through,Kyren Wilson beating Higgins and Gary Wilson beating Selby..Despite how poorly he was tonight Kyren Wilson is definitely the value in the bottom half, the others look unbackable at the prices..
