It's always the danger with long-format, one-table matches, I suppose, but on paper some of these should have been crackers and just haven't been - or anything even remotely close to it....

Long form events are great but maybe just right before the world championships is not the best time. No matter who you are, you can sustain form over months and months of competition. Imagine how jaded some of these guys would be if the china events were still on.
