Any standouts today iyos?
Bingham was hitting it so badly last week, the early stages of the Higgins match was some of the worst pro snooker I've ever seen. Thought Matthew Stevens' long game was in good shape and he played well even in defeat. He would be my main fancy on the day for a spot of value, and I could even consider chucking a couple of quid on Dominic to beat Ronnie - he will attack it after the way their last match went and if he's hitting it well he can be quite dangerous. |
By:
I think Stevens is value, but I also remain convinced that John Boy has a psychological hold over Butch, so I'm prepared to forgive him that display a little.
The thing with Ronnie is, he could easily come out and win 4-0 and could easily get beat. He could not care less. If you forgive Tom Ford his LTO performance, I think he's a fair price against Lee Walker. I think Zhang Anda is value against 2.0 (though you have to ignore the H2H). Soheil Vahedi is a bigger price than I think he should be v Alfie Burden. I make Zhao a bit shorter against Angles than he is. I quite liked the way Sharav played last week, and Dave has gone off the boil a bit. The caveat to all of the above is that my numbers are on BY FAR the worst two week run of the year.... Strange things are happening.... |
By:
Talking of Sharav, how will he stand when they have the tourney in Saudi? His parents are moshavniks, and what about Vafaei and Suheidi?
By:
Vafaei quite often struggles (or did) to get a visa as it is for some events.
I don't think you *HAVE* to enter, do you? |

That's ballsy, Luo! That wasn't hanging over the bag!

Very dodgy looking!

By:
Not that different from standard Lumpy MO, TBH.
By:
Not sure about that - it looked a bigger move than normal to me.
By:
Only because the market is dead. Price is ALWAYS his least concern. If he needs to go shorter to get filled, he will.
By:
Anyway, we might get to find out here.
By:
That was a very easy miss on the black if you didn't want it.
By:
I'm normally happy to take a bit of lumpy but that was such a move that it looked too dodgy for me.

Well, my bed is made either way

Taken a third back at evens and 1.9.

I'm pretty convinced this is straight. Another easy opportunity for Ricky to go long and miss there if he wanted.

Like that

Pretty lame attempt at putting the blue safe there, Ricky....

Position managed so that I'm on him at just under 4/1, so I'm happy whatever happens for now.

Taken Ding on here at 1.28, White can be very dangerous and Ding might not be at his best today.

As good as anyone on his day, and then eminently capable of throwing in utter stinkers.

Wouldn't mind a little play with the ref during the interval.
