He showed some real balls in the decider against Selby, but it was a patchy match. He was pretty decent last night v Donaldson, but he did keep getting let in. Robbo's been different gravy tonight.

Frankly bit disappointed by display last night but not hugely surprised at same time. I always said i thought he was a decent prospect, never a world beater, but his game isn’t developing because he’s never had a proper set up and can’t get better being based in iran and all the travel hassles that comes with it. Some of the shots he took on early in the match were stupid and once he went a couple down that was end of it. In fairness i’d say there’s a few players lower down could be decent but just don’t ever get the grounding to give themselves the confidence and knowhow to improve. Foulds talked last week about lower ranked guys who had ability but didn’t know how to win and i reckon there’s a good few in that bracket.
Guess robbo should win today but not really taken by the prices. |
