Why is this cheat still allowed to play in this great sport? And what he did in the past is never brought up.

Betfair to blame unfortunately.They censored all the outrage at the time because it was damaging to them. Then when the notw sting was carried out and Higgins was investigated, Betfair mustn't have come forward with evidence that match-f1xing in exactly the same way as envisaged in the notw sting, may have been done in previous matches.

No previous matches have ever been investigated and that has to be down to Betfair not providing evidence.

My post removed wtf,was proven in court and on phone went to back himself in world championship at interval when playing shaun murphy,a very greedy little man trying to cover the prizemoney if he lost,not cheating just a horrible greedy little man

That's not someone who loves snooker that's someone that is not to be trusted thus the other accusations fsr more believable,we all know people like that a world final and your thoughts at the interval to cover yourself in a bet to actually have that mentality to do something like that just find unbelievanble for someone who's a multi millionaire..

Worth watching the Higgins v Davis premier league game where the betting suggested it would be a draw and poor John 3-2 up could hardly pot a ball in the final frame and even fluffed a few safety shots. Must have been embarrassing for him that Steve was such an average player by then it took him about 10 chances before he finally crossed the line. (No suggestion by the way that Davis was anything other than a player miles past his best.)
