GRANT - momentum is with Selby - surely he cannot play as poorly again - he was even choosing the wrong shots - not like him at all - it is stating the obvious but the first half session today is vital - I think the "old guy" has had his moment in the sun - at least I hope so .......

Marginally prefer Mark from here. Will Higgins may try to play conservative stuff and nurse the lead rather than attacking Mark on tables set up to reward attacking play?

That mental cross double attempt in the last frame was a worry for Higgins backers. Not to mention the howling positional shot that put him on tilt.
The first frame today could be colossal. Higgins stops the rot and is guaranteed to lead at mid session, or Selby could easily snag all 4. |
