The greatest problem is they all have to toe the party line or they don't work so its a never ending torrent of nonsense saying how tight the pockets are and the standard has gone through the roof.
Anyway it could be far worse and on the bbc with Davis and his Parrot tunneling the unacceptable depths of presentation on what was once a serious game. |

Used to play Phil Studd at snooker in the early 90s cos he was on my Uni course - we were both massive Jimmy White fans but he had the good sense to turn off the 92 final when Hendry pulled back to 14-12, whereas I drowned my sorrows to the bitter end with my 'celebratory' bottle of JD. He's a good commentator nowadays
