I am not including Ronnie in this, although, it has to be said, the men in white coats are put on full alert when he awakes each morning.

I certainly think both Murphy and Trump suffer the condition a tad more than the average being and perhaps that is why they both have the sublime ability to be misunderstood.
Both men can play to an incredible standard yet fail miserably to exploit their talents to the full.

Lots of you will cry rubbish because they both have tasted success, especially Murphy .

I have given up backing both men because they seem to find the losers path in matches they really should win.

Murphy's gone and while you know Trump holds all the cards in this last four I am going to find it interesting to see how he manages to lose.

Mind you I won't be opposing Trump but no value for a bet.

I mean no disrespect, I have an Autistic son and we are all touched by it to a degree but those 2 seem a tad more than is the usual.
My son can pot anything on the table and can find the bull on a dart board but has no time for competition or rules.    He has recorded a clapping sound on his phone that he plays after every brilliant shot.LaughLaugh The pub loves him and so do the girls but sex is not on his radar. ( AND LONG MAY THAT CONTINUE)Plain

Giggs, you know as well as I do that big breaks have never come easier and thats fair enough. What is so poor is the commentators we have are as thick as shxt and do not show proper respect to the players who were not playing on these conditions.
It only happens in snooker.

Anyway just took the 24s on the youngster because he is value and gives me a reason to watch tonight.

Like to see John win because of the class he has brought to the game but still not convinced he will last the course, mainly because he wants to win so much and to pick up Hendry's cup means so much to him and they go back so far together.

Moondan, i know you mean no disrespect at all and its great your kid is showing an aptitude for the beautiful game, you got him backed to win the world champs at fancy odds yet Wink

I dont know anything about this really, my impression would be that kids on the autistic spectrum would be put off by the random chaos and ever changing patterns of a snooker table, but then again luca brecel was an autistic kid who apparently was potting balls the instant he picked up a snooker cue, so there may well be something in it.

Does Moondan himself suffer from autism?

I have an autistic relative and he will reel off all different types of cameras (through obsession) and their capabilities but when he takes a photo himself he struggles to operate it.

Moondan reminds me of him and his obsession with Hearn, Davis and Parrot. He knows plenty about their characters but struggles to see past this obsession and see further opportunities of understanding the game.

He also managed to mention the BBC coverage of the snooker on the horse racing forum on a thread highlighting the poor BBC coverage of the 1989 Grand National meeting.Laugh

Zen, we all suffer to a degreeGrin

With regard to the pathetic  Hearn, Davis, and Parrot and their poverty of thought for the long term future of the game I have nothing but contempt for them.
Expect more from me until they treat the fans and the game with the respect it deserves.

I do wish the world could find a serial killer with a love for the gameCool

I will be studying your case Moondan.
Your self documentation of your condition will be open for discussion on a regular basis.
