I'm broke. well not quite, i still have various investments but since quitting my last full time job last march i've been living off of my current account and linked savings account. picked up a part time job in the summer covering sickness leave at a local hospital but sadly for me the person whose hours i was getting decided to stop faking illness in the face of the sack, and my plans started falling apart.
i had been running well up till that point, and had hoped to make as much from poker in a year as i could from my part time work. unfortunatly without steady money coming in, and with steady bills going out, i was forced to cash out. my primary bankroll rule is never to have more money in my poker accounts than in the bank. my mistake however was to continue playing the tourneys i was used to, which soon led to the collapse of my bankroll. i left enough in to cover the costs of the remaining APAT league games but failed to cash enough to save the enevitable. busto.
then shitfed my action back to stars, building up a small roll before cashing that out in the face of rent day. been thinking of having a break, i ought to be looking into other work possibilities. i have ideas, and i need to cutback on the amount of time i'm playing to realise them. however, i checked all my accounts for points accumulated and found enough in betfair to exchange for $30. that was 3 days ago. i'm now upto $250.
Hell if i can keep up that rate of interest i may never have to work again (dream sequence of miracle run...), but there is tougher opposition ahead and many hours of perseverance. gonna be trying to work this roll up at the plo full rings and hit as many small buyin tourneys as i can. also been trying out the mad tilt games... if i can crack those, could be a great rakeback grind.
