Truth be told, I didn't like the way we finished the season. I know it was strange circumstances and everything. As I say, hopefully just me being overly pessimistic, but I will genuinely be surprised if we retain it.

even harder to retain true but the others have to bridge that gap-the gap is the everest,that last 15/20 pointsutd chels can easily get 3rd,4th,,its the last 10 -15% thats the real test
That assumes we still get a tally around 100pts, which I'm not convinced we will without investment. The bench, while still massively improved on a few seasons ago, is still v light compared to City. It only takes injuries to the wrong players and we could really struggle.

I remember saying to you before the start of the last season that I was worried we wouldn't be able to lift ourselves after the disappointment of the previous season, so I am very happy to be proven wrong again.

Surely it will be too late if it gets to that stage? We need some investment before then.

Rebels beat themselves today. Very little between both teams. 2 BIG mistakes by the Rebels led to 2 Tahs Trys.

Not sure how I feel about that rule change. Attacking knock-on in-goal = goal-line drop-out. Takes the pressure off having to clear your lines, but you are guaranteed to be facing another attack unless the receiving side fumbles.
Brumbies really look like they'd rather be anywhere else
They've been putting up regular time markets the whole way through, Drever (after several of us requested them). Unfortunately 97% of the action is on the outright winner market, however.
yes i was aware of that however the market up for saturday doesnt stipulate regular time match odds so maybe weve gone back to the good old days of one match odds market.
More likely that whoever loaded the market doesn't realise there's the scope for golden point? I'm guessing there has to be given there needs to be a winner in order for someone to progress to the final?

To this day, I have no idea how the Rebels didn't come away with something, despite what the bare result might tell you. A combination of inept finishing and resilient defence combined to give a very undeserved and completely misleading look to the scoreboard. On another day, the Rebels come from behind and win, given their total domination of second half territory and possession.
Could I back the Reds at sub 1.5, no way, Jose. Am I prepared to back the Rebels at 4.0? I think I probably am, small stakes.

cracking match just finished in the mitre 10 cup ,17-14 final score , almost more draw confusion as commentator announced this tournament now has extra time and only one market up rules stating "who will win this match".
