They ran it well last week after the first draw. Why now split already all-time low liquidity into two. Boggles the mind.

After the Reds-Rebels mess on Friday an additional extra time market was available for the rest of the matches over the weekend. Why not continue doing that? Classic Betfair.

I completely missed that they'd added ET markets for Sat/Sun games last week.

But, yeah, every BF 'improvement' is anything but....

I still refuse to get involved with the stupid 200+line handicap list.  Used to be one of my favourite markets on the whole site....

PS, the liquidity split might not be so bad if the 'coupon view' on the website didn't show the 90-minute market rather than the regular time one....

A few hours until Reds-Force with matched amounts of both markets in the hundreds only. How sad.

will monitor regular time market in play and hope its playable, very annoying especially given the scarcity of rugby in the last few months

Super Rugby NZ = test match quality
Super Rugby AU = doesn't even look like the players are professionals

I was going to say earlier that it's no coincidence that we've had much better contests since it's been AUS v AUS and NZ v NZ

Been some insane prices traded on this 90 min market, IMHO.  1.26 with a 5pt ball game and 15 mins left was bonkers, win, lose or draw.

Post-COVID eagerness perhaps? The Rebels being matched at 1.01 with a one try advantage in an 80min market with a few minutes to go last week was a shocker.

Maybe that and the fact it's a market we're not used to in Union?

Someone's got a lovely £6k Canes lay at 1.28.

FT 29-27.

Great game, and for all I said I wouldn't trade a market without the draw, I couldn't not with some of the prices on display.

FT CHI 31-33 HIG. From memory the CHI 1.01 was matched in the first half or very early in the second.

Morning Reveen!  Just read the report!  Wondered what I'd missed.  How much matched at 1.01?

I didn't check the markets as I didn't have a bet in the game. But chiefs were 20-0 up at halftime I think, and looked pretty much in control. And then they scored straight from the kick off 2nd half so I reckon this is when they would have hit 1.01.
Annoying thing for me is I fancied the Highlanders to beat them, but because I missed the very start I just didn't bother(got burnt by Cannes late Try yesterday and didn't want to make a bad weekend any worse Angry)
Gatland seems to have ruined the Chiefs since taking charge.
Crusaders v Cannes should be a good game next weekend.

I feel your pain Stew, Fancied the Highlanders as the Chiefs have not been playing well and was going to back them and put in a small lay of the Chiefs, nearly same as you but had backed Canterbury Bulldogs and got beat in the last play of the game after looking like the winners all game. Then watched the football, forgot the game was an early kick off (all stupid excuses) and just knew what was going to happen when I looked at the score first thingCry

You three didn't miss much as the liquidity was extremely low due to the early kickoff time. 1.01 was traded for peanuts, 1.02/1.03 a bit with 1.04 in the thousands. I wanted to lay Chiefs during the last twenty minutes as Highlanders had all the momentum but there was nothing being traded. So it was the perfect match yet no volume due to the time slot, otherwise 1.01 would have been gubbed for a lot more.

(Comments above were assuming you wanted to lay a lot when the Highlanders started their comeback. For general betting obviously market was okay depending on your stake size.)

As we have stated on this thread previous Gatland is being found out back in NZ.  The Chiefs fans not happy at all.  Once again his team fail to see the game out after having a big lead.
