Hilarious.  Almost as hilarious as seeing all of the money United are wanting to spend.  They clearly haven't learnt a thing.  CoolLaugh

I don't think it matters who's manager while Woodward is CEO, mate.   All he's interested in is selling shirts.  The rest of it is an irrelevance.

I think it inevitably means you end up paying massively over the odds (wages) for show ponies who couldn't really give two shiny sh1tes about the club, as you see with Pogba and Sanchez.  That's one of the most pleasing things about how "we" now operate as a club.  Our recruitment is very, very good.

or...part of it might be they get to OT and they soon realise no-one really gives a f,cos it all comes down from the top-the monesy still rolling in,sponsors, still rolling up every week to see the sh*** we serve up,carry on boys, alls well

Maybe, but Sanchez came across as a money-grabbing **** when he was at Arsenal.  If that's what your priority is (let's be honest, there aren't many PL footballers who are struggling to make a buck), then you are very welcome to ply your trade at somebody else's club.

An embarrassing night for Australian Rugby. Again.I don't get this. It's halftime the hooter has sounded you're 60-70 metres from the Chiefs tryline and Genia and Cooper decide to chuck it around and see if they can conjure a try out of nothing. They haven't done anything in the previous 40 minutes to suggest they were capable of scoring a try. So after the hooter has gone and they are down 3-14 (so the Rebels are still in the game) they decide they want to score a try. So naturally they fxck it up big style and the Chiefs score instead 21-3 game over. These two blokes are internationals have been playing super rugby for a decade. I can't believe it!!! There's not a 9 or 10 in even the lowest grades of Sydney club rugby playing tomorrow that wouldn't hoof that ball into touch and head for the sheds. Is it arrogance? Delusional? Do these slow old blokes still think they're the same players they were in 2011? I thought experienced players got slower as they got older but smarter? These two just get slower and dumber!

I've been saying it over and over again - Australian rugby union players are dumb and last night was a perfect example of it. When you're dealing with such a shallow talent pool and at the same time an increase in teams (from the original three) purely to make up the numbers in SAANZAR it is never going to work. Throw in a dumb union in the form of the ARU who, when a side was finally to be culled, they chose the inferior Rebels organisation who were a rabble compared to the Force who actually had developed local talent and had a thriving junior system in place. Instead we are left with the Rebels who this season were talking it up big time about finally making it to the playoffs yet end it with a 2-6 record. LOL! Oh and going back to the union - they've know hired some weirdo pirate lady as CEO who left her previous organisation (a rugby league club) in disarray!

I 'get' completely what happened last night - you have Genia and Copper who have a history of risky plays who have never truly learned from their mistakes. I put this down to the fact they somehow won the Super Rugby title with the Reds in 2011 which IMO was lucky - it was the one time their risk taking worked. The problem is because they have been validated by a title the same errors will keep on occurring until they retire.

There is a lot of delusion within the ranks of Australian Super Rugby players due to many only being professionals by virtue of the number of spots available versus level of talent. This also applies to the veterans like Dumb and Dumber (Genia and Cooper) because there is no one really capable of supplanting them due to the lack of talent issue at hand.

Big tackle, but I don't think it's particularly high.

Reds doing what they do best and implode when well in the game.  Those final 10 mins of the first half is what u get from the Reds.  Very poor

The Reds are a shambles just like the Tahs & Rebels.  Easy money for any Brumbie backers

Next game up Stomers v Sharks.  I'm going in large on the Stormers.  Both teams need something from the game to qualify.  Sharks have a few players missing.  With that plus home advantage it points to me in the Stormers favour.  1.75 - 1.76 average is a fair price on the Stormers.  Good luck

Sharks stole that game late on.  Stormers only themselves to blame.  Sharks kept the ball superbly for their final try

Strange weekend, The Chiefs being asked only to give up 1 point to the Rebels had to be the bet of the year but no one seemed to be on . Also the Stormers losing to the Sharks in the last seconds was so naive. With 40 seconds to go they are on the Sharks 5 metre line then give away a penalty for a stupid high tackle letting them kick long into touch , really stupid play , also the tackling in that last period of play was non existent. Maybe it is because of the World cup this year but the games in the southern hemisphere have been so hard to call. Also what a shame how the Sunwolves have flopped this year.

Sunwolves being axed. Have the best crowds in the comp. Thought it was meant to expand the sport in Japan? Oh well. I'm not sure but I think the Japanase RU were not at all helpful when it came to the Sunwolves. The domestic comp seen as much more important?

When: 16 Jun 19 13:11
Yes your right KDM . The thing about the wolves was while they had the best crowds it was almost like a family outing , more to entertain than the result, which was a shame because if harnessed properly they had great potential.Agree again about expanding the sport worldwide, they will be missing out.

So next week the Quarters.

Home team first

Crusaders v Highlanders

Jaguars v Chiefs

Hurricanes v Bulls

Brumbies v Sharks

Looks like all home town victories to me. The Chiefs are big improvers as they get players back but that Jaguars side is nearly the Pumas and it's in B.A.
