No obv Ire deserve to win but the tone was set when the late tackle was given in the 2nd min - if that is late then rugby is in for a troublesome future! Scot have been allowed to get away with blue murder at the breakdown and italy get pens given against them for looking like they might commit one! My point really is that i can't remember that last game of rugby i saw , certainly international, where the ref didn't play a prominent part in shaping the result by their  inconsistency and generally wrong decisions - remembering most rugby i watch I'm impartial - tmo included.
