Absolutely delighted with the team Warren Gatland has picked.

We have a great chance of upsetting the odds.

I guess he is looking for substance over style here, fair enough to a degree it ia all about winning. Personally I would have liked to see Itoje start and Joseph at least on the bench. Maybe Itoje will be a revelation off the bench as this is going to be attritional. Can't see the point of Halfpenny on the bench.

My personal preference would be to start Itoji and have Tipuric on the bench instead of Sam W but I can see WGs logic.

I am warming to the prospect of Itoje coming off the bench and into the war zone fresh and angry! although I still think he should have started!

NZ should be about 1.10 for this.

Hello curious cat, hope you are well

If the Lions are going to catch NZ out, it'll be the first test. Excited by the back 3 named, leaders all over the pitch and the Lions bench looks punchy, bar maybe HP. I'm a little worried his inclusion maybe because of concerns over Farrell's fitness, so as a place kicking replacement, as he's not going to come on and impact upon their attack.

1/3 does look an enormous price. suggesting nz would only be marginal favourites if they were playing away Shocked

Don't normally drink beer in the morning but going to have a few tomorrow . Can't wait for this game. Very interesting, some giving the Lions a decent chance and some who think NZ will steam roller us.

Interesting point about Farrell maybe not 100%. Hope he lasts the whole game.

The Lions will want as many scrums and line outs as possible where i think we have a slight edge. NZ will surely try and get the backs involved as much as they can.

NZ very slightly on the drift, now 1.33.

Fascinating contest in store !

Hello Monstrous Bryan ... North Wales ?

I'm very well thank you ...... hope you are too.

Looking forward to Itoje coming on ..... I would have preferred Rhys Webb starting but perhaps he'll come on and win the match.

Sexton hasn't impressed and would have given Biggar the edge on the bench.

Biggar is a lot better player than farrell

better tackler, catcher of the high ball and just as good as kicking. Maybe farrell slightly more creative with ball in hand

Nahh bob. Biggar is way behind Farrell and Sexton, you've even got an argument that Russell and S Davies are better NH 10s at the mo. Farrel is the best playmaker in the NH at the mo, been the best player on tour for me

History would say nz
but no Richie McCaw, in fact nobody that will put terror into the lion's hearts
I think pressure is on All Blacks. They've got a lot to lose
at the prices Lion's great bet

no way this Lions outfit has a prayer
All Blacks will score absolute minimum of 3 tries
we've been struggling to score tries against lesser sides
i'm surprised this is allowed to go out live
and not just highlights after the watershed

I'm struggling to find a single Lions player better than his opposite number.

I'm not.
On a dry warm summers day AB's are unplayable.Today won't be.
Win or lose Spatland has changed it up(impact players 2nd half warming the bench)
I think Lions plus 12 is insulting.
I think they well might smother and steal this game.
COME ON YOU LIONS!!!
Prediction 2-1 Boring Haka

The key to the match will be the Lions rush defence. We've seen so far on tour some kiwi 10s struggle with it most notably Damien Mackenzie. Who doesn't struggle against it? Will be interesting to see how the ref polices it because rush defence is often off side defence. The line speed of the Lions has been much faster than what we see in Super rugby. The ABs pack will be a much stronger bunch than the hapless Maori pack so that will provide Barrett with a much better platform. To be fair to Mackenzie I don't remember the last time I saw him play 10. The Lions are definitely improving but the ABs will be miles tougher than anything they've faced so far. And Beauden Barrett is fast becoming the greatest ever 10 in the history of the game.

The weather is the key factor for me.
And also I just think the Lions are going in underrated(Crusaders for example)
Meanwhile smashing 78 points against a pretty sh1t team means little to me.
The AB's are the best Rugby team in the World, but is that good enough against the 4 Nations in wet weather ?
Lions have saved stuff up their sleeveLove

The kiwis are used to wet weather football too. I don't think the Lions are underrated at all. The ludicrously short price they've been in every match so far shows that. Just can't see them getting enough threes to counteract the ABs sevens.

Everybody getting excited. Handicap was 12.5 now done to 9.5. Not sure how this will go thb. Think the Lions will well if not give them a good game, match them up front. I do expect a tight game.
