Out of the teams remaining, I would say winner must come from: NZ, Aus, France, Ireland. Didn't think SA looked good enough today, and though I would like to put Wales in the mix, I don't think they can do it without a max strength squad available (plus we always find a way to lose!)

Eng went into the tournament ranked behind both Australia & Wales. Shouldn't be surprised theRefore to lose to both.

Will the average rugby player live beyond 55 ?

Good game to watch at times.  Although Eng were very telegraphed in their play.  Often left the man isolated when breaking through and often didnt make the first tackle count on the Aus player.  When Eng had the ball they passed too quickly without committing the Aus  player . Aus had immense performances from Foley , Pocock and Hooper.  If Aus continue to play at that level they will win the whole thing.

Aussies are the only team we are scared of (NZ). South Africa are getting better but they are a team a couple years past their best. Scotland were terrible today but SA were very static I'm attack as well. Ireland are OK, but do they really have the belief that they could beatvus for the first time. The French are average, just meandering through.

What a difference having a decent scrum makes.

I had the best night's sleep I've had since we knocked NZ out of the 2003 RWC. Even if we don't win another game the satisfaction of knocking out England will last a lifetime. Which has not got long to go according to Salmon Spray because the average rugby player only lives to 55 and I was a very average rugby player. Now some nitpickers out there,I'm thinking here of my wife,might like to point out that this best night's sleep was actually conducted during daylight hours face down on the lounge room floor. I have no time for people that are obsessed with details. For the first time since 2003 I didn't wake with a flaccid and shrivelled little worm hiding away in my undies ashamed to face the world. NO! My track pants were elevated to stretching point by a blue veined diamond cutter! And it only got better. I thought we won 23 to something but upon a second viewing I discovered it was 33-13. I think maybe if I watch it again we might get to 50!!

The best thing about the game was I hardly ever heard the crowd sing that Swing low sweet chariot SH!T.

England might gain some consolation by beating Uruguay next week.

Unless they play Suarez and Cavani.
