The thing about Carter is how easy he makes it look. Just ambles around the field at times, timing everything beautifully and not exerting himself. Closest player to him right now is still Nick Evans.

Would suit if they couldn't get the lights back on and voided this game.Bit of a long shot I know Mischief

This could be a real issue here if it is a general problem in the area, not just the ground.

Going to be tough for both players after this delay, but particularly for Arg to stay mentally focused. So often we see teams keep it tight against NZ in the first half, but then can't hold out for five mins of the second.

Should be some good old fashioned up and unders from Argentina now. Wouldn't fancy Dagg's job in the second half.

how can the ref warn it will be a pen "next time???" it is either a pen or it isn't ffs

If you stab grubbers through, don't let them run it back down a 1 yard channel!!

Very odd for both teams to replace a back-row pretty much at half-time.

Love Justin Marshall as a commentator. Makes a change from the usual one-eyed chumps we get.

not having to think too much about tactics here is certainly helping the NZ players

That was a ridiculously harsh call. First man in and was on his feet until he got the ball.

Albacete was there, over the ball, NZ player hanging on to it. Equals a NZ pen, obviously.

Offloading 3 yards out. Absolutely mental from NZ.

Huge miss as it's nigh on impossible seeing Arg scoring a try here.

Cry can't afford to miss chances like that, poor effort

Would be a bizarre result if we get to the end and NZ have won without scoring a try.....

ive jumped ship now at 1.07..you cant miss kicks like that and win games

Hell of a hit on Romano. NZ still can't get over the line.

Good yellow card to get. Saved a certain try and worth the gamble for his team.

Who made the hit on Romano before that though? BOFF!

Isn't Romano something like 18 stone? He built up a head of steam but was just knocked dead in his tracks!

was a deliberate knock on ... not an  early tackle imo
By:
RugbyMan
When: 08 Sep 12 10:08
Yes, was a clear yellow for me. He nearly managed to knock it backwards though, which would have been a hell of an effort. All came from a messy scrum early on.

You've got to love how NZ arrowing straight down at a ruck is fine, but Argentina doing it is a pen.
By:
RugbyMan
When: 08 Sep 12 10:12
BAH. Really need NZ to have gone closer to the posts. Cruden can't kick from straight in front, not got a hope from wide out.

Said Conrad Smith was good for 10 points earlier, but 5/7 and a guaranteed victory is just as good.

Why did Camacho come off his wing? They were properly numbered up!

that's the way to use the extra man. i wish some of our players would watch how NZ just use short passes through the hands rather than the pointless loopy long missed passes they always seem try. plus they make sure they use the man outside
By:

It's a bit of a weird tactic NZ use, getting their locks to pass the ball on in midfield. They don't commit anyone because you can see a lock forward lining up to pass from 15 seconds earlier. Just lets the defence come up.
