Looks very much like Scotland have a big wind advantage to me. That early box kick by Genia went backwards.

you just know if the aussies had this kind of possession & territory they would have scored a try by now

Yes, better to go and look at a puddle for 80 minutes.

I think the Scots will need a double figure lead at halftime to stand any chance with that wind 2nd half.

Scots need to maul for the rest of the game really. Going to knock-on every time otherwise.

That's definitely the right tactic. Worked well for Edinburgh in the Heineken.

That's what Scotland should be doing imo.High Bombs in that wind are pretty much impossible to take in these conditions.

Why on earth do they persist in trying to move the ball wide through the hands?

keep it in the scrum Scots! they really are clueless at times

They keep saying that Robinson has got the respect of his team etc, but his two international teams have been 2 of the thickest of all time.

i think i've had enough of this game of drop ball, i have sympathy for the players but you have to use your brain in these conditions ffs.
using their brains is not scotlands strong suit tho

anyone else get the feeling the aussies will be perfectly happy if they are within 10pts at half time?
By:

yes

Get on the back foot Scotland ffs. Aussies would be a yard further forwards at each ruck.
By:
furrelli
When: 05 Jun 12 10:09
could be a lot closer at this point...... as long as their trailing i'll be happy

smart play from aus, exactly what scotland should have done rather than try these pop passes that got dropped every time

It's really Australia winning by about 20 in these conditions against the wind.

When: 05 Jun 12 10:15
playing real smart rugby, scots kicker shoulda gone for length there or a lineout deep & he goes up n under in his own 22.... not too bright really from the Scots, overcoached
By:
RugbyMan
When: 05 Jun 12 10:16
I don't know if they are coached at all. Every game I see Scotland I spend the entire game thinking 'why did they do that?'

Whats the affective score in this game at the moment bearing in mind the huge wind advantage. Aussies winning by 20 plus points.
By:
RugbyMan
When: 05 Jun 12 10:17
Just a sheet of Aussies laying on top of every ruck.
By:
furrelli
When: 05 Jun 12 10:18
overcoached as in not allowed to think for themselves, robotic almost. on a brighter note happy/surprised to be able to back aussie at sp, based on what we've seen a big....?

the score is 3-6 not 26-6. hth Tongue Out
By:

When: 05 Jun 12 10:19
think your the only person who thinks the affective score is 6-3
By:

When: 05 Jun 12 10:20
Handicaps around 8 to 10 points. Coral were as low as -3 early on. Question is how difficult is it going to be for the Aussies to turn possession into points?
