wire -40 with the firm that makes £100 million profit a year
Report TheVis April 3, 2012 2:22 PM BST
Well, a good bit off being a record as it turns out with the market setters opening the bidding at -40.  I'm sure a few £20s here and there will sort that out.

Stade v Exeter may just be more compelling for those who like their matches to last beyond 20 mins.

touché Laugh
Report suitangi April 3, 2012 2:24 PM BST
no morley ,waterhouse or mick monaghan for wire, be on widnes myself anything above +40
Report der_der_73 April 3, 2012 3:21 PM BST
widnes got loads of injuries as well.  this will be about Wire -54 at least
Report suitangi April 3, 2012 3:30 PM BST
whats the record?
Report Class33 April 3, 2012 9:37 PM BST
I think I remember Wigan v Workington being around 60 in the first super league season (and I think it was covered)
Report suitangi April 3, 2012 9:43 PM BST
fantastic memory there class, I see they were beat by 74 at central park that year alright
Report finfin April 3, 2012 10:06 PM BST
Wigan v Halifax 2003, Halifax +50, 30 - 0 ht, finished 40 - 0.
Report TheVis April 4, 2012 7:54 AM BST
There was definitely a 60+ last season.  Wigan/Warrington at home v some no-hoper like the Crusaders if memory serves.
Report toffee87 April 4, 2012 2:10 PM BST
wigan v crusaders was mid 30s
Report The real Moaner April 4, 2012 10:23 PM BST
Am I the only one who thinks Widnes are being massively under-rated? Even I acknowledge their chances of winning are incredibly slim, but they will be raring to go after last week and Warington are resting some big names.

I could easily see Widnes matching Warrington in the first half, and even leading after 20. 1.1 is a fair price. 1.03 looks a clear lay?

Thursday night of Easter wkend used to Bradford v Leeds
Report bongo April 5, 2012 8:02 PM BST
If a derby match is classed as a 'contest between 2 local rivals', does this fixture count as a derby game or not on that definition
Report TheVis April 5, 2012 8:04 PM BST
It's as much a derby as Wigan v Saints is
Report The real Moaner April 5, 2012 8:05 PM BST
Does anyone realise there is a game on here?
Report furrelli April 5, 2012 8:06 PM BST
game maybe but certainly no match.....
Report RugbyMan April 5, 2012 8:10 PM BST
Widnes at least look bang up for this. Not convinced they have been in some games so far and with a lack of creativity for Warrington it may be a bit closer than expected.

Otherwise it's going to be pretty boring.
Report RugbyMan April 5, 2012 8:12 PM BST
Westwood rattled already. He's going to cause some damage to someone now. Bloke is absolutely nuts.
Report The real Moaner April 5, 2012 8:13 PM BST
Does the market realise Widnes are winning?
Report Rhino-2k8 April 5, 2012 8:13 PM BST
Oh
Report RugbyMan April 5, 2012 8:14 PM BST
Ha ha, game over already. Warrington got no hope!
Report Rhino-2k8 April 5, 2012 8:14 PM BST
0-12
Report TheVis April 5, 2012 8:17 PM BST
wire bottom in completed sets - business as usual then again this week
Report RugbyMan April 5, 2012 8:18 PM BST
How on earth is that not a penalty?

If two Wire players have hands on the ball and it gets wrenched out, thats surely as clear a pen as you could ask for?
Report RugbyMan April 5, 2012 8:20 PM BST
Didn't take Westwod long. Lot of liabilities in this Warrington team.
Report RugbyMan April 5, 2012 8:21 PM BST
Stevo obsessed with taking 2 here. I wouldn't personally. Widnes need tries to win this.
Report TheVis April 5, 2012 8:22 PM BST
crowd need to watch the replays = that was a clear knock on

I would agree RM 2 not much use really when they are in attacking spots
Report RugbyMan April 5, 2012 8:31 PM BST
Widnes defending is something else. Can't number up properly and Isa's tackle would look bad for a pub team.
Report RugbyMan April 5, 2012 8:33 PM BST
The officials have called a clear forward pass in the act of scoring!! I thought that didnt happen in superleague. Great stuff.
Report furrelli April 5, 2012 8:38 PM BST
Dear Betting commissionair,

With regard to Warrington Wolves making extra £'s on the side.......
Report MoneyBagger April 5, 2012 9:08 PM BST
Bookies reckon Wire will demolish Widnes this half according to their lines...looking unlikely given the last two possessions
Report RugbyMan April 5, 2012 9:11 PM BST
Same as the first half, and in fact their whole season, making blunder after blunder and then suddenly scoring a few tries out of nowhere.

Interesting video decision this one. Looks like a no-try yet there is some logic to say otherwise. Could be given.
Report TheVis April 5, 2012 9:11 PM BST
That could have been given.
Report RugbyMan April 5, 2012 9:16 PM BST
Can you knock-on that hard? That's twice Warrington have baffled the ref by ripping the ball.
Report STEPTOES YARD April 5, 2012 9:23 PM BST
heel in air

try that
Report MoneyBagger April 5, 2012 9:24 PM BST
Looks a try on that rear shot
Report Rhino-2k8 April 5, 2012 9:24 PM BST

Report The real Moaner April 5, 2012 9:24 PM BST
Anyone who considers referees to be biased to give underdogs a chance for the cameras needs to watch this game.
Report MoneyBagger April 5, 2012 9:27 PM BST
The discipline of the Wire players is terrible...very lucky to get away with things like that
Report unders101 April 5, 2012 9:28 PM BST
Give the ball to Carvell to kick, anyone would do a better job than Myler Cry
Report MoneyBagger April 5, 2012 9:33 PM BST
Not exactly blowing them away and the errors still come
Report RugbyMan April 5, 2012 9:38 PM BST
No, terrible second half. Theres enough bad defending to score plenty, but nobody wants to take charge. Lot of replacements doesn't help.

Just dont look right this season do they?

They just don't seem to take advantage of the possession and territory. Scored just 2 tries despite being in the Widnes virtually this entire half.
Report RugbyMan April 5, 2012 9:43 PM BST
Nothing works without Briers directing, plus no Monaghan makes a big difference.

It's the error rate all season that is troubling though. Extremely high for a top team.
Report furrelli April 5, 2012 9:44 PM BST
obviously Wire are on the widnes h/c......... b e n t as feck
Report RugbyMan April 5, 2012 9:46 PM BST
Looked like another forward pass to Riley there.

Had to give that so that people didnt demand their money back though.
