Am I the only one who was expecting Warrington to be 1.2 to 1.3?

As someone who goes against home advantage and supports the underdog, this price looks totally ridiculous; but the other way.

Saints were 1.5 against Warrington at Widnes last year when Saints had no home advantage and at best, were an equal side to Warrington! Now Warrington have a much better side, form and home advantage.

Would Saints really be favourites if they were at home? This just strikes me as an utterly absurd price and a totally massive overreaction to last week. Especially when Huddersfield are 3.65 at Leeds on the same evening!

if both teams play like they played in their respective games last week, then saints win

Plus you have some ridiculous head to head record of since Super League started Saints are about 36-2 up against them.  Then you have Westwood out who is an influential figure for them.  Its a game to leave alone imo because as last week proved if St Helens play well they take some stopping.  Granted on paper Warrington have the better squad but thats not everything.  I think there could be plenty of points in the game if the weather stays dry, 2 attacking teams.

Leeds never turned up last week, kicking game poor, ball control dier, tackling abysmal. This is one saints fan not getting carried away with our performance last friday.ASfor the head to head i fear the wire have a few scores to settle.

Whilst Saints have Meli so that cancels each other out.

With home advantage, Warrington should be 12 - 18 points favourite. Warrington play Widnes next; Saints play Wigan. I wonder who might have divided attention?

Warrington have played this season doing just enough to get by whilst Saints, one good performance aside, have been woeful. Last week's bounce back will not re-appear and the "curse" was killed last year.

It's the only time I can recall ever supporting a 1.5 favourite pre game and within the top 5 oddest pre-match odds that I can recall.

I agree tRm

Won well on Saints last week but a flaky team to my mind and I have both laid Saints and backed Wire-one naff value the other great.

Time will tell.Excited

This league is so much about attitude and Saints looked so much brighter and more enthusiastic last week. Having Roby and Lomax back didn't hurt either. Got to keep that going though.

Warrington are bottom of the league in percentage of sets completed. That's a hell of a stat and they made a lot of mistakes against Wigan last week as well, but their finishing ability gets them out of jail. If they keep knocking-on they will come unstuck at some point though.

wait n watch what occurs for me with this game. too many what if;s in this sport, jus cant really trust some sides/match-ups whilst others are soooooo obviously 1.01's

having said that tempted by the 1.56/1.57 as a back first up but....... i'll wait ta, potential to be a cracker this one.

Anyone know anything about this kid Josh Jones? Rumoured to be getting a game here.

Saints without their best forward in Pulutea and have a debutant in Josh Jones at centre inside Francis Meli.

From all accounts, he has promise but never got a sniff before now and this isn't the time to offer a debut to someone ahead of the excellent Tom Makinson.

Makinson doesnt look big enough for a centre from what I've seen.

Meli at LC, Makinson at LW. Meli on the wing is an automatic two tries to Lee Briers.

Warrington look much the better . Saints best forward and their go forward man , Politua is going to be a huge miss .

The Wire bench looks difference class also

Meli defends like a revolving door at centre. He and Soliola are massive liabilites in terms of lining up properly.

Atkins just went for a wander to make that easy. Saints looking very good down the middle from the start. Got to stop Roby to stop Saints.

Would be quite happy , if i was Tony Smith . 6 nil down , but they defended very well and can consider themselves a bit unlucky , what with the charge down and the knock on

How many Warrington errors so far?

They may be top, but the amount of blunders this season is very surprising.

This is really poor from Warrington. Defenders all over the place.

Got to love St Helens when they are going well though.
