France right up against it as apart from the fact that Wales are good and getting better all the time, they have to play 4 consecutive weeks AND have a day less than Wales before the game AND they have to travel-imo that makes it extremely difficult for them
imo Wales may be shorter than that by kick off

France will be a huge challenge as always. Need to get past Italy first, then see which players we have fit and well going into the final game, which will hopefully be Grand Slam decider. Wales should be marginal favourites at the moment.
I just watch a re-run of Wales v Emgland 1999 at Wembley, when Wales won 32-31 after a late Scotty Gibbs try. A 19 year old Jonny Wilkinson was playing, but Neil Jenkins was on lethal form. Quite funny to see the really baggy rugby jerseys they were wearing back then!

So Vis , wales who are currently 4/7 for the championsip with most bookies and france with still tricky games v ireland /england , and u think wales will be 1/2 for the championship should france win those 2 games. Doesnt make sense.

Agree Wales would probably be 1/2 but at those prices I'd be a French backer-would definitely trade shorter at some stage as it would be a close game with no more than 5-7 points in it IMO

Putting opinions aside it's not rocket science to suggest it'll be 1.62 Wales v 2.76 France with the usual draw price , the current grand slam prices make it a simple equation of 1.06 x 1.62 for Wales and for France 1.40 x 2.76.
All subject to any big name injuries or any other imponderables in the 2 games beforehand.
Good luck chaps

given Italy's away results so far, injuries to castrog and others and given good conditions Wales could easily put 50+ points on them-that will hardly mean the Welsh price anywhere north of 1, will it?

France gave Italy a hiding, Wales have the potential but people are going into overdrive about them. They have not beaten a team as good as France and to have 1/2 fav's against them is silly. If France are playing for the championship I would have Wales as very slight Fav's down to home advantage. Wales are not a better team then France yet.

Whatever the prices it'll be a cracking game. Wales can only beat France playing one type of game(a decent one) and France will be forced to respond in kind.
I think Wales should win, but France are capable of so much more then we've seen from them so far. As always with the French the danger is in the unknown.

Wales were without warburton for most of the game, and missed 4 or 5 penalties to win the game.
despite having only 14 men they make France look as if they were the team with a man down
given that its in Cardiff and that France play 4 games in a row then Wales 1-2 France 6-4

points difference may affect the outlook of one team
the draw at nice prices may become a decent bet
wales 8/11 for me given they both need to win for the grand slam

an awful alot depends on how france play against Ireland and England, especially should france lose
If they play well and win both games well, then obviously their odds will come in a good deal.
wales will be so hurting from the manner of that world cup defeat, and will be going all ouf for revenge.
Id say that the extra motivation and desire to make amends will be enough to get them the win
Scotland should have beaten France last sunday, they just couldnt concentrate long enough after they got their 2nd try.
Wales far far tougher mentally wont be making the same mistake

Wales will be a similar price to the England game, will trade in the range of 1.65 to 1.75.
If France slip up, we will see 1.60 & lower.
Anyone who thinks that this is a coin toss, does not understand home advantage.
On a neutral ground, I would have Wales around 1.95, France around 2.14, & the leftovers for the draw, which may well be the value, as we are due one :-)
