We've had false dawns before under Gatland remember. It's the pack that will win it for Ireland today

ITCB - perhaps provincially it's the non-Irish players that finish the teams off nicely whereas in Wales it's the non Welsh that just haven't been good enough?

There could be some truth in that Vis. Strauss and Nacewa at Leinster, Warwick and the many centres at Munster, the Saffers at Ulster. All performing well and complimenting the teams.

Hard to say which of the Welsh imports have really done a great deal. Rush and Blair in years past, but not really now. Regan King has gone.

It could be as much about the situations they come into as much as the quality of players themselves though.

The battle of the back rows will be crucial. And Wales defence needs to be as good as it was in the world cup.

REFUND TRY SCORING BETS IF LAST SOCRE OF THE GAME IS A PENALTY
By:

When: 05 Feb 12 14:43
yes they refunded yesterday on Scot v Eng - though of course having a try scoring bet in that was optimistic.

Today they may have reined prices in as a result - certainly in the anytime market where really it is not worth backing anybody with them, but there are a few first scorers that is worth a look given a bit of insurance with this offer.

If that's an accidental knock-on we might see a spate of such things.

Try saved by Bowe illegally for me. Could have been yellow.

Go back 10 years and that is a try. These days we need to look at it a hundred times to inevitably have to give a negative decision.

Isn't technology great?

Wales fail to get over again though when the chance came. Ireland did remarkably well to get out of that.

Seems to be the Irish disease to push your luck as far as it will go, then push it a bit further. When the ref says something, respond quickly! They lost against France last year for entirely that reason.
