Hi, I've been with Betfair (Australia) for over 15 years but have only just joined this community blog. In Australia, "inplay" sports betting such as football has to be a 'phone in' application, a government regulation. Has it ever been a consideration for the punter to set up the required bet to say a separate section such as a "Pending Bet" section and then for the punter to phone in, give their T.A.N. number where the customer service person can see the pending bet, confirm the details and put the bet through?
I have found the customer service people very good, and necessarily consice but it takes time and I have been caught on occasions where I have got halfway through the ritual and a goal or similar has occurred and I've lost.
The above would speed up the process for all concerned alleviating possible errors.
