Russell Brand, the political chameleon who has reinvented himself from radical left-wing firebrand to right-wing populist, faces seven charges involving six women:

3 counts of r***
3 counts of s***** a******
1 count of i******* a******

The alleged offences date from 1999 to 2009. Brand has pleaded not guilty to all the charges. The trial is expected to last around eight weeks.

I wonder if that's a one off or if there's any other examples of people with names like Mustafa doing that sort of thing.

Brand has done a lot to damage his own street cred. There was Manuelgate, then he spent years telling people not to vote and that the whole system was pointless and then just before the 2015 general, he did a weird u-turn and told people to vote for Milibank. The whole thing is bonkers.

None of the charges relate to 'the child'. the 16-year-old schoolgirl Brand has admitted sha**ing when he was 30-years-old.

I very much doubt RB has 10 mates but he did broadcast his escapades on the BBC

Even if you are a leftie who is capable of logical reasoning, you can never escape from the control of the cult of leftism. Leftism is a diabolically evil cult. You can talk about Brand all day but try bringing up Mustafa and his grooming gang activities. The other leftie loons will have your guts for garters, your leftie privileges will be withdrawn and you will be branded a racist. They behave exactly like a cult, where the lower level cult members police each other to prevent wrongthink.

Blush... I did look first..

I have a Theory...

The abhorrent crimes he's accused of... I have little doubt he's guilty.

But, because of his charisma and likability, he'll convince the jury he's innocent.  As long as he takes the stand.. (why wouldn't he)

I imagine his counsel will have kittens if Brand takes the stand

In normal circumstances true.. But Brand is a charismatic wordsmith... I'm betting he does.

He was a jerk who I blocked from my life for decadesm but he's become a thoroughly decent sort, truly repentant and it's no coincidence that he only got in trouble after he became so outspoken about the islamo-globalist deep state. It's a lawfare modern day attempted lynching to serve as a warning to us all; 'SHUT UP, SLAVE!'

The first alleged r@pe is said to have taken place in Bournemouth during the Labour Party conference in 1999.

Norb did you know Russ was big on Labour back in the Day ?

Does your opinion of his guilt or innocence depend upon politics?
By:

When: 14 Oct 26 13:35
He was a big lefty icon back in those days with the scruffy unkempt look and overly tight trousers Nanny.

Labourites and the Guardian use to love blokes like that 20 years ago before they started to prefer their male icons to have purple hair and skirts.

Anyone deciding Brand's guilt or innocence without hearing all the evidence is a fool.

After hearing the allegations my thoughts are, we're gonna need many more prisons...

Several of these are clearly crimes because he didn't call, like he said he would.

HELL HATH NO FURY LIKE A WOMAN SCORNED..

When you look back, TV has some habit of enticing all sort of weirdos and oddballs also known as "Characters"

Even those who committed no crimes were weirdos....Bruce Forsyth, Bob Monkhouse, Cilla Black

1st case.. She invites him to her hotel room (over 26 years ago).. She goes to loo, comes out and he's taken half his clothes off.

She's asked to take photographs of him half clad and she does..

I'm thinking If you put your hand into a Tigers cage to pet it... It could bite you. I'm sorry you're naive and don't get that.. I'm not putting the guy in prison.
