Could just be fuel theft, plenty kero on an airfield and not particularly well locked up. Can be sold on as diesel, heard of it being sold on in the past as coming from ire as rebated with the dye removed when it was in fact kero and fckd a lot of engines up (fuel pumps).That was a long time ago.
Times are hard fuel is expensive, always a scam going on. Rem reading a story years ago about an Airfield aviation service office and bosses raising suspicions about every car in car park being a diesel, again that was moons ago. Think the tail went along the lines of there was a lot of wastage during servicing, summit to do with fuel tank cleaning. |
