First of all the only foreigners I have encountered were my wife was in hospital when she was ill and they were obviously medical professionals and they were magnificent in their profession and civil and just decent people. Secondly Ireland don’t claim to own territory legally or illegally, miles and miles away from our island so options are limited, to help refugees have safe haven.
