COVID-19 vaccines saved an estimated 14.4 to 19.8 million lives worldwide during just their first year of distribution, and a later study covering 2020 through late 2024 estimated an additional 2.5 million direct deaths averted See Escapee, facts still don't matter do they, just like during Covid when you lot bleated for more authoritarian boot in the face. my bad escapee - the Lancet never withdrew their 'guesstimate' - that's absolutely standard behaviour that rag however - I'm not gonna blame Ai even though that's where I got that
Other estimates of course differ massively (2.5m from Stanford) - because that period was just that - utter guesswork which nobody can prove - pure hyperbole all over the gaff and for all we know they saved f all lives.. and you can't link that period to almost everything else that's happened since - well, I pity you To add ... Lancet has been caught in the firing line time and time again over decades though ... many different cases |
