Ah diddums

What sort of adult says these things to another adult?

Do you lefties actually use these ‘ah diddums’, ‘groovy gang’ and ‘Kool aid’ phrases when you are out in public conversing with other people or have you just spent too much time on social media with teenagers that you think people speak like this on forums so you have to as well?

Not a great fan of the entitled royal family, however despite the money it’s not a life I would like, sympathy is the wrong word but I appreciate their is problems having that life they were born into.
However I don’t understand the right wing press hatred of Prince Harry, it’s obsessive and way over top in my opinion.
Now if you don’t like the royal family it should be them all not just one profile one.
Is Harrry hated for racism against his wife and his children?

Malay - try reading the first page of this thread to see some reasons why the ginger one and his other half are disliked.

The other members of the Royal Family haven't left these shores and then started trash talking have they ? One huge reason why they are not disliked as much as the errant prince.

I thought there was something about from members of royal family talking about skin colour, I may be wrong I’m no expert on British royal family, as said previously I have nothing against them, I think hero worship of that institution is strange behaviour but people are entitled to their own beliefs and what gives them satisfaction in life.

As dixie mentions, try rereading the first page and have a chuckle as all the haters realise they don't know why they hate them,  they couldn't think of any reasonable reason other than regurgitating murdochs bile.

That's a good point dixie, they haven't have they?
They only person I can think of who did that recently is Farage, Trash talking the UK to congress and the american media. And as you point out Farage is not a member of the royal family even though he's a count.

It is alleged that a member of the family wondered what shade an offspring would be.
Do you think the crime is in wondering about that, or wondering out loud?
By:
MALAY
When: 28 Aug 26 20:59
No crime at all but if you are wondering about thes things, the question can be asked Why does that bother you ? The most important thing for any family should be incoming child’s health IMO
By:

When: 28 Aug 26 21:04
Why does wondering about something imply that it bothers someone? Anyone
who says the thought wouldn't occur to them is highly likely to be lying.

Who says the child's good health wasn't everyone's prime consideration Malay ?
Just because at least one person also wondered about what the baby would look like, doesn't mean that was all they cared or talked about does it.

I would suggest it is a perfectly normal thing that is discussed when a mixed race relationship couple are expecting. And hardly racist to do so.

Escapiddle completely losing the plot again, waffling about Farage when we are discussing the RF Crazy.

Dixie could you explain why the right wing press appear to hate one section of royal family so much ? We will leave skin colour or mixed race out debate.
Do you not agree the negative press is excessive? The guy is not Hitler ffs.
By:

When: 28 Aug 26 22:08
Malay - because he took the goodwill of the British public (and a sizeable contribution from the taxpayer to his wedding costs) and threw it back in their face by trashing the RF from abroad in his disgraceful memoir, as well as generally slagging the country off . The distress he caused the Queen in her final years was unforgiveable.

Had he just disappeared to the USA to live a private and peaceful life with his wife and kid (as he kept saying he was going to do) rather than doing the exact opposite, then he would have doubtless retained the affection of people here. Remember, there was a time not that long ago when he was even more popular than her majesty. HE only has himself to blame for how things have gone in recent years and his defeat in the courts a couple of weeks back was richly deserved for the hubris he displayed alongside his luvvie fellow complainants.

Escapiddle - au contraire you numpty, this thread is about ginge and PP in case you hadn't noticed. i,e the very people who went to the USA and trashed us.

FYI Farage is not a member of the Royal Family. HTH

He said he was glad to escape this racist country, and actually called his plane trip a 'freedom flight'.
Fair enough, there is mutual dislike, that's life. He's the one crawling back now, why should that make
people here like him again? He's made his bed, let him lie in it.

Nobody is perfect lads and I can assure you I’m not president of Harry fan club, if he died tomorrow of salmonella I would not give one F, but I do not think he deserves the negative press, putin has allegedly threatened uk with serious weapons and sections of uk press hate the ginger prince more than putin.
Just my opinion I will leave it at that.

As far as I remember: He dressed up as a N**i for one (or more?) parties.

As with EVERY fact, one has to contextualise it, and of course all the woke right hate me for putting facts in context on here. But hey ho, Only losers bet on facts without context and this is a betting forum and therefore like it or not, facts will get contextualised.
so.

As far as I remember: Several witnessess have said clacton man used to goose step around his college uttering unPC remarks in a manner akin to your implied smear, which he descibed as youthful fun or something of that nature.

Should we hate on harry but give clacton man a free pass for mildy different shades of the same distasteful behaviour?

The Royals bore me to tears, not an Anti Royalist just completely nonplussed by such a painfully outdated and irrelevant establishment, I generally switch off as soon as they're mentioned and cannot believe how much press attention they get given, I know nobody who's interested in them yet the coverage they get seems way way disproportionate to how relevant and how in-demand they actually are in 2026. It's like living in some bygone era where the country hung off their every word and appearance pre Television and mass media, but we know that's not the case especially given how multi cultural we've become over the last 60 years. Why is that, are the media legally bound to keep them in the spotlight ?

It is weird. It's not like any of us can relate to them, they're upper class, mix in high society and live in a parallel universe that none of us will ever visit. But they're also completely untalented and say nothing of interest. The only reason why huge crowds are drawn for weddings and public events etc is because of the passing interests of snap happy tourists.

The level of hate and contempt Harry gets has clearly been amplified by the Pro Royal Family media in an attempt to consolidate their phantom importance in the public's psyche as Harry began to distance himself from them, by making sure everyone's against Harry it by default tightens whatever bond and feeling some people think they have with the Windsors, at least that's what the Press believes.

Do you think the average person today, i.e the current and next generation having grown up with social media, are on tiktok, instagram and facebook searching for the latest tittle tattle stories on the Monarchy FFS, give me a break, they want to see the latest dance crazes, reviews on Charlie xcx's latest album, what Taylor Swift is wearing and what's she's currently up to, it's just the small greying population left like the old boys on this forum that may have some kind of lingering interest, but once you're gone, that's about it, the Royals luck will run out and tax payer funds funneled their way will dry up before they're all farmed off to the country and forced to get real jobs to live in the real world as should be the case in the 21st Century.

Kind Regards.

mes, todays younger generation won't be young for ever will they ? When they grow up and ditch the Taylor Swift stuff then they will doubtless view the world in a different way. If we had a referendum on abolishing the monarchy i doubt many U25s would even bother voting. When they are older they probably would do.

From a balanced article a couple of years back :

If Britain ever did decide to get rid of the monarchy, it would be a constitutional matter requiring legislation from parliament. Even before that, it would need to be endorsed by the British public through a referendum, which would have to be called for by the government (just as the Brexit referendum was). If such a vote were held today, polling from June suggests that the country would opt to keep the monarchy by a significant margin. And Britain wouldn’t be alone in doing so. Although previous referendums have led to the abolition of the monarchy in Italy and Greece, they have also reaffirmed support for the institution in Belgium, Denmark, Luxembourg, Norway, and Spain.

With the monarch gone, Britain would need a new head of state, as is required in almost all parliamentary systems. This would most likely be in the form of a President, a role that already exists in parliamentary systems such as Germany and Italy. This person would have most of the existing responsibilities of the monarch, such as certifying laws, going on state visits, and speaking to the nation in times of national crisis. But an elected head of state would also likely have the responsibility of acting as “a kind of constitutional umpire,” says Hazell—something that a monarch could never be.

Republicanism isn’t a strong force in Britain at the moment, which makes the abolition of the monarchy unlikely for the foreseeable future. But that could change if the institution does, or if it fails to attract the support of the younger British population. Among those aged 18 to 24, support for the monarchy has fallen from 59% in 2011 to just 33% today.

The owner of the Duchy of Cornwall is going to have to 'get a real job'? How's that going to happen? Are we going to go full Bolshevik and seize their landholdings along with that of the Duke of Buccleuch and Anders Povlsen?
