President Trump is the GB NEWS equivalent in the history of the American Administration. His ministers are inadequates that resemble the trolls on the internet.
As a matter of curiosity and interest what qualifications do his Deputy, Defence Sec, Foreign Sec and Home Sec possess? They do not seem to possess the required / expected intelligence, cultured and professionally and socially rounded. One or two come across "a sandwich short of a picnic". |

We have gone past the time when the left peacefully accepted people disagreeing with them. Whenever I ask them who should the people who wanted a secure border have voted for they have no answer. Orange man was the only candidate willing to secure the border. The truth is they don't think it's acceptable to disagree with their insanity. Milton Friedman was right when he said you can't have a welfare state and an open border, but unfortunately common sense and logic means nothing to the left.

Incorrect. He lost the popular vote in 2016 and in 2024 despite winning the popular vote he still failed to win 50% of the vote. He has never had majority support in the country and I very much doubt he would have ever been elected if the USA had a normal presidential voting system like every other civilised country. |

No-one is disputing that he has been voted in twice. The fact remains that the majority of the country did not vote for him on both occasions as you have incorrectly stated.

If Le Pen wins the French election next year she can quite rightfully claim to have majority support in the country as every vote will count and she will have to win over 50% to be elected. Trump can never make that claim.

They only have the electoral college system because it was needed as a compromise between congressional selection and a direct popular vote and the left was always in favour of it until 5 minutes ago. Now they wine endlessly about the popular vote because they think it can compensate for the terrible candidates they insist on fielding. It's not true to say Trump could not win under a "normal" system, there's no evidence for that whatsover.

I made exactly the same point about Miltiadis Tentoglou, when the leftie loons claimed he wouldn't have won the gold if it was judged on how high he jumped, it was only because they had that crazy system of judging the long jump on how far they jump. If it was judged on height he would have trained differently and had a totally different strategy and no one knows how high he would have jumped with a completely different set of rules.
