Done something half right. Another thing I have been banging on about for 5 years. Does this spud think that the amount of gas people use to heat their homes is dictated by the 5% VAT charge  So yes, one step forward, one step back, still virtue signalling. |

Coincidentally enough I signed up to a 2 year domestic energy contract last night. Standing charge for electricity 53.71p PER DAY! Nearly £200 a year before I've even switched a light on. Standing charges are just another stealth tax.
