Think about it, even though these atrocities are the work of the The Israeli government and the IDF, it is Jewish people who get the blame. All over the world Jewish people are facing increasing hatred.
Even in America and England.
Facts need to be faced, Netanyahu is the leading cause of anti-antisemitism in the world.
“For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.”
You conveniently forgot to mention the preceding slaughter in Israel, you really are thick.

On October 7th Netanyahu was faced with a choice; justice or revenge.
Seal off Gaza, call for international support and to bring the psychos to justice.
Being a psycho himself he quickly chose revenge. 18 months and a genocide later Jews around the world live in fear.

Think everyone knows at this stage Israel wants all of what's left of Palestine (and more). Can't dress it up any other way and what they have done is repugnant.

not remotely realistic unfortunately though undoubtedly Israel and their approach both in longevity and some of the strategic stuff has lost them virtually all good will around the world which in their position is a pretty grave error of judgement..
it's a bit weird how many people blame jews who had no part in it of course..almost like there's another agenda..

a lot of Jews in Israel let alone elsewhere have been pretty vocal in their criticism of the approach Netanyahu has taken..
That's just another imagined thing though...a lot of Jews in Israel let alone elsewhere have been pretty vocal in their criticism of the approach Netanyahu has taken..
Yes but Netanyahu has cried antisemitism at every opportunity in an effort to shield himself from justice.
Jews around the world now paying the price for his dishonesty.

Hi Brentford, they have been some very critical, their ex PM one of them. Fair point from you.
The criticism has achieved nothing though, they have quite possibly got 'worse' and killings are always done with the 'justification' of being part of a 'terror group' when in fact that is a pack of lies

hope you're good Lapsy..your lads and lasses tearing it up in the Cricket recently..
yep can't disagree with you in regards to some of the stuff certainly..reflected in how little support remains even amongst long term allies..
he lost any moral high ground a long, long time ago...

you'd need credible sourcing for that but even if he did it wouldn't excuse the actions and the knowledge of the inevitable response..
Netenyahu funded hamas Brentford.you'd need credible sourcing for that but even if he did it wouldn't excuse the actions and the knowledge of the inevitable response..
Palestinian leaders wouldn't agree to previously negotiated 2 state solutions and democracy in Palestine brought Hamas and no future democracy of course..

Israel did not directly fund Hamas, but for years the Israeli government permitted and facilitated the transfer of millions of dollars in Qatari aid into the Gaza Strip. This controversial policy was intended to stabilize Gaza's economy, provide basic necessities, and maintain border quiet.
is the first response
Qatari Cash Transfers: With Israeli approval, Qatar distributed hundreds of millions of dollars in cash to the Gaza Strip to pay for civil servant salaries, fuel, and aid for impoverished families. Israeli officials permitted this under the belief that economic stability would incentivize Hamas to govern responsibly and avoid large-scale conflict.funding of Hamas..

would be nice to hear some critique of Iranian financial aid of course..

Wasn't really going to 'impoverished families' though, straight in the back pocket of hamas. The 'Israeli officials' weren't too interested in economic stability imo but keeping hamas strong against the PA in the West Bank. That was to avoid a two state.

Possibly so Lapsy..in which case why are Qatar funding it ??
but the true window of opportunity for a two state solution died a while ago when moderate western influence still existed..

How could they decide where it went ffs, hamas were the government, it went to them. They kept it to fund war on Israel, they care nothing for 'their own' civilians.

What was the choice ?
React to the invasion or just allow it - convenient excuse for a proper fat land grab ?

I certainly wouldn't defend Israel's actions beyond the initial responses...but if people from 3 separate countries regularly rain down missiles on your major cities which are only defendable thanks to state of the art missile defence systems - think I'd be quite grumpy..

Paradoxically BF if Israel were raining down (their state of the art) bombs and missiles on your 'bros' they would be entitled to be grumpy too.How could you stand back with what was happening in Gaza?
The EU funding was probably well meaning but went into the other back pocket

Not really been mentioned outside of the States, but a notable aspect of the Democratic primaries in New York last week was the overwhelming support for candidates who were critical of Israel. It's become a live issue over there that will no doubt be replicated in other big cities, while pro-Israel big hitters such as Shapiro and Newsom are coming under increasing fire for not criticising the Israeli regime enough.
There's a change coming, and it's coming quickly. Netanyahu's bloodlust has cost Israel tons of support. Burnham's already being probed on his opinions in the region and if he wants to ensure he doesn't leak votes to the Greens he'll need to strike the right tone. Feels like the Middle East will actually be a relatively big part of our politics for the foreseeable.

Speaking for yourself I expect. Most people I know hate terrorists more than Israelis, Burnham will do well to realise that. New York is run by a terrorist supporter, so probably not typical of the whole country.
