Police Scotland has issued a statement over an incident in Dundee that has seen figures such as Elon Musk and Tommy Robinson accused of spreading misinformation.

Video footage taken on Saturday afternoon shows a young girl brandishing a knife and a hatchet by the side of a busy dual carriageway in the city.

The youngster can be heard to shout "f***ing kid bashers" and another girl yells: "Don't f***ing punch my little sister, she's 12." Meanwhile, a man behind the camera says: "Show the knife, show the knife."

Claims on social media suggested the girls had been followed, recorded and "chatted up" by two adults. A 12-year-old girl has since been charged and Police Scotland's most senior officer in the city has now spoken out about the case.

Chief Superintendent Nicola Russell said: "We are aware of misinformation being shared on social media in relation to an incident where a Bulgarian couple were approached by youths in St Ann Lane, Dundee, on Saturday, 23 August, 2025.


And even the former first minister of Scotland Scooter boy Humza useless came out and blamed the far right being full of bull**** and his wife blamed Musk and Robinson and said "It is also clear that elements of the far right are attempting to hijack this incident to spread a racist, anti-immigration agenda. This is both dangerous and divisive, and it threatens the cohesion of our communities".

Today the male immigrant has been found guilty of making sexual remarks to a 12 and 14 year old girl and the female immigrant of assaulting a 13 year old girl.

The establishment don't want any of this reported and want to control the narrative until months or years later where it  can just be reported once everyone has forgotten about it.

Police have said that information they initially shared about an incident involving a girl brandishing weapons in Dundee “did not fully reflect the situation”.

To do that acknowledges that social media is dangerous. But for everything else there is also regulation for over 16's. Smoking, alcohol, gambling etc are all banned for minors but then also closely managed for older people. The products are tested to check they're not overly dangerous. The places peddling them have to get licences to show they are fit and proper. etc etc.


To just say kids can't get these, but everyone else have at em is just mad.



There is a very simple truth behind social media. And it's that it is the wild west, where the companies broadcasting this stuff at us currently bear no responsibility for the content. That is the simple thing that needs to change. Just as the bbc or the daily mail would be responsible for what they show, so should youtube and twitter. It's really not hard. They're just terrified of taking them on and prefer to do the "oh look at us, we're doing something" dance.
