Been a bit weird. General feeling is that the refereeing has been better even if there are probably more mistakes than normal. Difference is that they're very much on the lenient, let it go side of things so the viewers think it's better as it flows more. Waving imaginary cards seems fully allowed again too. VAR is generally getting quicker so better, but I'll never be a fan.

I think refereeing has been, in the main, very good, they have let things go which is fair enough, which would probably be a foul every day or even booking in English premier league, but for retro man like myself I just shake my head at some of decisions in that league.
Whether they will continue with that policy once we go deeper into tournament and stakes get higher, I don’t know.

I think the Refs overall have been great compared to the Prem this season , 1 player who needs a tug is ..Cucerella for abusing Linos.. he must be due a card .. just for the shocking barnet

I think if you want a team to do well or have a bet, you will be shouting for a free.
The McGinn one against Morroco, I think that is a penalty all day long in English premier league on a normal weekend, should it be a penalty ? NO.
The refereeing has been a bit different to what we are familiar with.
Btw mctominay Scotland claim is never a penalty regardless of ref policy or implementation of that policy.
