It used to be said that ignorance was no excuse
in the eyes of the law. It clearly is now.
Bring your feral kids up as thick as shiz and they
can do as they like. I agree with nobby.

Judge should be removed immediately. He is clearly not up to the job.

The judge Mr Nicholas Rowland should not be in the judiciary. He should never sit on another rape case trial. The bloke is off his rocker, and totally wrong here. Irrespective of the age of the offenders, if found guilty, they should be given a custodial sentence, period. This is the least punishment that can be given. Anything less is a neglect by the judiciary and wrongful application of the law.

The young offenders in this case eg filmed and posted the heinous crime on the internet must be used as a deterrent; their young age should never be used as a mitigation. This is a very dangerous path for any judge to take. The sentence must reflect justice for the victims - not defendants.

The adage "if unable / unwilling to do the sentence, just do not do the crime". I'd have flogged these teenage offenders to ensure they do not forget this vile incident. I might even consider tattooing the word "rapist" on their bottom or the calf of both legs as a permanent reminder.

Both of my earlier posts with the judge's name are missing. The national papers have already named him. Crazy!

I said the judge should not remain in the judiciary. Irrespective of the age of the offenders, if found guilty, the sentence should always be custodial. The sentence was wrong, and certainly not a deterrent to future teenage rapists.

The rapists also filmed and posted the rape on the internet. How sick was that!

Many words have been written about our lax police and crime detection but the crisis in the DPP and in the courts is far worse. Why would police pursue teenage offenders if they are excused by a judge after a young girl has been put through hell during the offence, videos put online and then be asked to give evidence in front of her attackers in court?

That judge should be taken to the crime scene(s) and be made to experience the victims experience.

Is the judge concerned a parent? The CPS will tell the court if they'll be seeking a 3rd trial today for the Manchester Airport assault.
