Crypto... Blockchain... Billionaires

So people 'create' money from nothing on computers and become Crypto Billionaires. Nice work if you can get it. Nigel and Elon are all for it!

Meanwhile if a country 'creates' money with its banking system it's a very bad thing. It devalues the currency!

Britain has a £3 trillion national debt, why can't we put all those government owned computers to work at night and at weekends and blockchain our way out of debt?

We dont need to invent worthless overvalued assets to sell, weve got plenty already. Overseas territories, Royal family, Greggs, Banksy. Im sure someone would buy Gary Neville off us

Just need to find enough mugs to buy into your ponzi.

10 x annual salary for a tulip bulb in 1760s

Before the inevitable collapse.

Some of these guys in crypto have already made so much cash
it's almost impossible to collapse, they will just
keep taking and hold price high enough for folk to
get out when new mugs come along.

UK government not going to benefit from it, and likely
frog face would use our funds to buy into other ponzis

Oh what a tangled web

All ancient empires and countries minted their own currencies. There have been troves found with coins from the Roman empire mixed in with coins minted in the 1400s.

A coin is worth whatever two people value it at.

I went to ephasus way back when.

Guide was on about why was it built...

Why build any big place, new place...

Build a big church, bigger than that one
that's raking in cash.

Then rich folk will give you cash to buy a place in heaven.

Folk minted coins from precious metal as they knew
it's value, to buy stuff.

Then they kept the precious metal and gave you paper

Then they didn't have the metal but gave you paper

Now they are giving paper to buy the metal back...

Since Blair, we've imported millions of low paid workers to
pay my pension, who will pay for theirs? Grin

It certainly won't be the cheats and tax dodgers hiding in plain sight on every high street in the country - whilst everybody else is hammered to "do their bit' and pay in more.
