Is there any African country doing well without aid? I read that Zimbabwe is
desperate for white farmers to return, and is offering to give land back to  those they
stole it from. South Africa seems to have gone badly wrong since the ANC took control.

I think Africa's getting the biggest jolt from what's happening in the Gulf right now. Might cripple things on the continent for a few years. They're so reliant on the Gulf for their oil and also fertiliser. Big protests starting to erupt in lots of places.
