By the way escapee, if participants in a war use human shields, and some of those humans perish, who do you attribute blame? People using human shields, or the other combatants?

What adjective first springs into your mind for those who would consider using little children as fodder in a war?

Have any Progressive Apologists for Islamic Terrorists come forward yet, to express concerns that the stabbing of a Jewish gentleman in Golders Green by a man in Islamic clothing might see an increase in the made-up problem of "Islamophobia"?

Well I'm sure you ran the best defence you could for him. Maybe you can appeal against his sentence.

You really will defend anything.

I lived through the Irish Republican Army, including a massive bomb detonated 5 mins walk from my house. Certainly not Islamists, perhaps a shared cause though.

The Labour party was found to be anti-semitic, certainly not only Islsmists. Perhaps a shared cause, again.

The vast majority of terrorist attacks in recent times appear to be grounded in Islamism. Or would you actually try and argue with that?

so you don't know?

ah well, I've looked at the data as best I could from multiple sources and 35,000 is the likely ballpark figure.
Obviously I don't know the actual number.

Very snobbish of you not to share your ballpark figure whilst pouring derision on the fairly widely accepted ball park figure.
I guess you're not here to discuss facts.

I believe Islamist is #1, and far right is #2.

If you've got numbers for a verified independent source though...

You're calling 35,000 fantasy, with out any evidence it is fantasy, and you're refusing to put any number forward.

You're the 10yo in this conversation.

NEW YORK, 8 October 2025 — “For more than 700 days, children in Gaza have been killed, maimed, and displaced in a devastating war that is an affront to our shared humanity. Israeli strikes on Gaza City and other parts of the Gaza Strip continue. The world cannot, and must not, allow this to go on.

“In the last two years, a staggering 64,000 children have reportedly been killed or maimed across the Gaza Strip, including at least 1,000 babies. We don’t know how many more have died due to preventable illnesses or are buried under the rubble.

Seems odd that bbc have farrage on talking about anti semitism

Given how he is clearly part of the historic anti semitism
problem this country has.

Are we to believe he's had a damascene revelation?

Very odd indeed considering just a few months ago so many of his school mates came forward and the media was full of  details about what a huge antisimite he was.

2020s

wiki lists 10 terror attacks in the UK

8 of them Islamist/Muslim perps

According to the 2021 Census data, there are approximately 3.9 to 4 million Muslims in the UK, accounting for roughly 6.5% of the total population.

80% of the terrorist attacks in the current decade, emanate from a group that is 6.5% of the overall population Plain

It's difficult to get figures cos not all cases are recorded. Also, definition of terrorism. I still think the Southport killings should be terrorism but they're strictly not. But they match the more American trend of nihilistic teenagers who are just angry at everything and want to make the world suffer. That's terrorism for me.

Anyhoo, I got the below from ChatGPT. The search was for UK counter-terror arrests since 2010. Not definitive, but then - as said - it's nigh on impossible to get definitive as they're not released and counted.

Closest reliable proxy: convicted / imprisoned terrorists

The best official breakdown comes from people in custody for terrorism offences:

~58–60% Islamist
~29–30% far-right
~10–13% other / unclear ideologies

This is consistent across recent years and is widely used as a proxy for the overall mix of serious cases.

Other indicators (to give context)

Different datasets show different stages of the pipeline:

MI5 workload (investigations):

historically around 75% Islamist, 25% far-right (rough operational split, not prosecutions).

Prevent referrals (early-stage concerns):
Islamist cases now much lower (~10%)
Far-right ~20%+
Majority: no clear ideology

Even in porky’s spectacular whataboutery he seems to be tacitly acknowledging a difference between home grown far right terrorists and importing more terrorists.

Although of course the elephant in the room is that all these people are just as far right in their attitude than the home grown far right it’s just they aren’t white.

To be fair, Cider said the far right guy was only a fantasist and a victim of police entrapment.

Of course, you were about to say that too. Yeah?

Would you agree it’s prevalently a Muslim thing?

I wouldn't be surprised to see more attacks on the Jewish community in Britain.

They, and their leaders, are completely tone deaf. Too used to treating others as inferiors. This is not 1947.

Why did the police officers not open fire at the assailant? They were armed I believe. The assailant stabbed two joe public of Jewish descent, and tried to stab the arresting police officers.

Why incur the taxpayers expense to house the assailant in prison and legal fees? The assailant is not fit to graze the streets of London. The assailant is extremely unlikely to be a positive British National despite adopting a British Citizenship for economic and welfare purposes.

It would be less embarrassing if youjust didn’t post that.

It’s a pretty binary question of yes or no and you post that you can’t answer it with a reply of a couple of sentences.
