If Dave was winning this war would he be funding/resurrecting a paid actor to flood this thread with deflections?

I don't think yhtl is a paid actor. Bonkers maybe but no one would pay for that.

Thanks be to God for the Atlantic Ocean, we aren't Americans here at all and while many of them are in big time awe and take the word as gospel because of random words like 'truth','attention' etc. Most here are more cynical. Some here however buy it and accuse others of 'yer just a TDS' might as well call them a Christy altogether and the bastion of British common sense(generally) see through the charade.

I wish TDS wasn't a real thing, the world would be a much better place without it. There are people on this very forum who appear to get pleasure from continually posting fake news about Dave, which can only be explained by TDS.

TDS is a real mental illness.

No,derangement is saying someone got the 'mads' i think that is out of context.

If someone thought dave was on the lesser spectrum of human morality would you point the finger and say that's just TDS, could you see he may have a point? Or is it anyone that says anything em non complimentary is also a big tds?

I'm not sure what it should mean, you say fake news but a lot of true news too, what is the criteria for having say a mild dose of the tds?

Ayatollahs still in control of Iran

No oil flowing yet

Enriched Uranium 'going nowhere'

Trump has told Netanyahu to stop bombing Lebanon.

You would have to be bonkers to volunteer to be an Ayatollah after the decapitation strike.

What do people expect, it is the Ayatollah's only bargaining chip.
By:

When: 18 Apr 26 10:50
The Ayatollahs willingness to die for their cause only makes sense if the cause itself survives, and their cause can't survive without resources. There's not much point in them dying for a cause if that results in the end of their cause because they couldn't protect their resources.

There seems to be equal measures of confusion, panic and desperation as Iran are basically telling dave to get fo okedd. Not in the script at all but quite funny except for the consequences.

Has he been a bit more quiet of late?

Or is that just our press not giving him as much coverage.

Or could it be somebody has got through to him?

He can't really 'attack' as the surrounding countries won't want the retaliation, shut Strait and a loss of petrodollars, well and truly stymied, all that is left is talk up a great deal but that was already being done.
By:

When: 22 Apr 26 17:45
It's all just about ego now. He was close to a deal recently but then had to blurt out about them giving up their uranium etc, to which Iran simply called him a liar and it all broke down again. The first thing Vance et al need to do is shut off the wifi in the White House and then start talking adult to adult. Trump's out of his depth.

He could say that through his tough stance, the Straight of Hormuz is open. Mind you, it was open before he attacked.

The Ayatollahs have seized two ships in the Strait of Hormuz without reply from Donald.

Trumps problem is the Israelis have killed all they big leaders so he is left trying to negotiate with two or three fractions. A hopeless task.

And if he bombs every power plant the Ayatollahs will just show video of babies dying in incubators.

Donald J Trump is in a pickle and there's no sign of thee oil flowing anytime soon.

Iran has attacked three cargo ships in the Strait of Hormuz, Iranian reports say, after Donald Trump said he was extending the US-Iran ceasefire.

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) says it has seized two of the three ships, and is escorting them to the Iranian coast -

I don't think anyone disagrees with that busyfool, despite the whingeing on here from some. We all know Iran aren't the good guys. There are two problems though. Iran aren't the only bad guys, and how you go about removing them. There's a reason every other president has quickly dismissed Bibi when he comes up with his "ooh, they're 2 minutes from getting a nuclear bomb" nonsense. Firstly, it's nonsense and secondly this is what happens if you do try to take them on properly.

The big shame is there were proper protests and the regime was showing cracks at the start of the year. A smarter America would have been more subtle in engaging actors within those protests, promoting the shah as a reasonable replacement etc and, essentially help Iran to sort themselves out. But that wouldn't feed Bibi's bloodlust.

Now we've wiped out all the replacements America wanted to deal with. They left a vacuum and the military have stepped in and they're in no mood whatsoever to acquiesce. You've replaced loons with ultra-loons.

No-one serious in the west has properly realised the mess it's made for itself. It'll come soon when we realise the fuel and food shortages on our doorstep. At that point, the only resolution I can see is a proper old-fashioned tail-between-their-legs withdrawal from America, that'll make Vietnam look dignified and will leave the Middle East in a far bigger mess than it was in before they started their adventure.

The Azzurri haven't qualified for the World Cup since 2014 but the Financial Times have reported that US special envoy Paolo Zampolli is seeking to have them parachuted in, with Iran being removed.

The plan is an effort to repair ties between Trump and Italy's Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni after the two fell out amid the American president's attacks against Pope Leo XIV over the Iran war, the FT reported, citing people familiar with the matter.

"I confirm I have suggested to Trump and [FIFA president Gianni] Infantino that Italy replace Iran at the World Cup," Zampolli said.

"I'm an Italian native and it would be a dream to see the Azzurri at a US-hosted tournament. With four titles, they have the pedigree to justify inclusion,"
