Actually the obsession with Trump in the 'mainstream' here is off the scale. It's a convenient distraction from the ongoing humiliation of 'their man', the plank, and the destruction of their Labour party.

I'm not fussed about Trump. I have no idea what is true and what's not, same as you. Palpably you want it both ways, for the people you support, only the supposed facts count. For the people you don't, anything goes.

that's not what I've said though. The police have Mandelson in their sights now and will investigate. However, the only real allegations so far are about him passing on valuable info that was used to make a profit. None of the other stuff. If it comes to light then great. Hang him. But the overreaction of some on here is just classic SDS imo.

You called him a global statesman the other day, or words to that effect. The buffoon that embarrasses himself any time he's not reading from a script written by someone else. And sometimes then too [sausages]

Starmer. Yes, he is. The way he has dealt with other world leaders is about the best thing about him. I don't expect someone so one-eyed to see that, but I'm happy to say so.

Can you link me to an example of this alleged global statesmanship. I must concede, it has passed me by to date. Though for sure I don't find him tolerable to watch or listen to for long, so I concede it might have happened.

Why are you conflcating criminality with a potential political cover up porky?

If he's wasting police time then lock him up.

But why are those who defended spaffer and Co losing
their phones in covid etc now suddenly up in arms.

Almost as if their yootube handlers have got them
ranting yet again.

You are doing that in your first post porky.

When you clearly imply it doesn't matter the police will have it.

The issue at hand is it can't be handed over for parliamentary and political reasons. Even someone as intellectually limited as you must recognise a difference?

No matter how high a pedestal you try to look down upon people, you've always got a big "trump supporter" medallion round your neck, declaring your allegiance to one of the main perps in this travesty of justice.

There's no pedestal you can stand on and look down upon anyone with that.

Sorry, I shouldn't be so negative.

Looking on the bright side, we're pleased that you don't support all child abusers, we thought your avid support of
a few of them indicated you were going to be on the side of all of them going forward.

G'luck

Ok, but what are the political reasons apart from SDS?

If McSweeney's phone is so important and he's not accused of any crime, who else's should be handed over for close inspection? Only those on the left I assume.

Well the thread is based on the fact that he had his phone 'stolen' when Starmer said all communications would be released to the public.

If you seem to think that's okay because it might come out in a criminal investigation just say so.

Other people just want to know what was said on the phone as per Starmer said.

Yeah, that's a fair point. I'll agree with that.

The "robbery" is clearly fiction. Slightly tricky to prove it now obviously and accusations of a cover up must be better than what kind of a palaver McSweeney's got on his phone.
