He's a goner for sure. The $64k question is who'd be a suitable and logical replacement? I'm struggling to name one.
Mr Streeting is ambitious, is he able though? He's a newbie to politics too. To replace a dud with another is no better than maintaining a dud already in position. At least this dud is "liked" by potus which cannot be said about the majority of the other world leaders including the French frog or EU President.

I'm more on the side of him staying now. Removing a Labour leader is much more difficult than a Tory one, and it seems like the appetite for either Rayner or Streeting just isn't there. Devil you know and all that. If they'd let Burnham run it'd be a different story but I think the party are gonna try and ride this out.

I'd think Burnhams position is stronger than ever.

It's such a shame UK Plc has been lacking managerial leaders ever since Mrs Thatcher. Mr John Smith was never able to jump onto the hot seat as a result of fate; Mr Corbyn is a political career gravy-trainer and un-electable and moronic.

The posh boys despite their knockers seemed to have done a decent job between them. This cannot be said for Sir Shameless and Ms Reeves. However, I think one thing is almost certain. When Sir Shameless goes, Ms Reeves will go too. Ms Reeves will never be a leader or PM of UK Plc.

he could do what your hero putin did and make himself president for life. no doubt youd like that

we seem to have the wrong kia. at least the other one deals with those he deems incompetent. keir capitualtes every time the d1ckheads that infest his party kick up a fuss. they should never be listened to. they know nothing and are bred from councils and trade unions and are clueless about the real world and hostile to business

theeves has piled pressure onto everyone, despite her 'growth' mantra. what a sick joke that is. my dear friend m has pulled out of buying 2 pubs because the costs are too great and his backers have backed out

the fact that david dummy and horrible hag rayner are anywhere near power is an indictment of labour. they are there because of what they are, not what they are capable of
even labour chums cannot come up with a single positive act from this hopeless shower

and we also have ministers for gaza. triffik. im sure their constituents are thrilled. iran has been causing havoc for 40 years, and is possibly the nastiest regime in the world, and without it the present disaster in gaza is unlikely to have happened. but wanchors on the left are silent, and some even supportive. thats how stoopid these liars are, its all about israel

islamofascism and left wing politics make for bizzare bedfellows but thats the reality of the denial of phoney liberals who simply dont care and abandon all progressive notions and pricnciples

one thing i will give kia-he is not a lover of the neo-hitler in the kremlin

He would be replaced as leader of labour party and
if necessary a vote of no confidence in Parliament,
but Labour can replace him without confidence vote.

Labour would find a new leader, and a new vote of confidence would
be called in parliament. If a no confidence motion is passed
they have 14 days to select leader and pass motion.

New leader would then go to Charles and tell him that
he needs to ask him to form a new government.

any MP can propose a motion of no confidence but, convention is that if the leader of the opposition asks for a motion of no confidence, the government acts to facilitate a debate followed
by a vote in which a majority of 1 or more triggers
the 14 day period to form new government, passes a new confidence vote, or else a general
election is triggered.

thats because anything that confronts your dishonesty and ignorance makes you uncomfortable. so you duck it

you say you have your opinion and i have mine but mine is out there and yours is not. because you are frightened or ashamed. dont be. you like fascist dictators. own it

unpopular opinions are fine imo, dishonesty less so

me brain not fizzled at all, didnt get up until about 3pm. and even when it is, its light years in front of yours. i have freedom of conscience. you know only what putins propaganda machine puts into your empty melon

In another email from May 2012, Epstein mentions to a friend that Mandelson and Lord Alli were staying at Shelter Island in the Hamptons, the exclusive summer playground for America's elite.

Epstein, in an exchange with businesswoman Jennie Enterprise, containing multiple grammatical and spelling errors, asks: 'are you on shelter island.'

Ms Enterprise: 'Yes… U close?' He then emails back: 'no my fined peter mandel son , former dep prime minister engalnd' gay is with another black gay , walid , currently on shelter island.'

'Walid' is understood to be a reference to Lord Alli who was the first openly gay member of the House of Lords when he was ennobled in 1998 by Tony Blair.

He bought a substantial Shelter Island property in 2016 before selling it and buying another in 2020, which is now on sale for £13 million.

backtracking

youd never heard of bandera until putin stuck it out there for you

no point feeling sorry for those dead. bit late for them

what you could have done is deplore large-scale war brought back to europe by a fascist dictator

but you didnt. you blamed nato, not the evil brute who started it

you dont like zelensky you say. what if you thought he was a great geezer, would you have a different opinion of the war?

irrelevant bollox from a massive idiot and fool and liar

you want to remove yourself from any discussion because you are embarrassed about previous tripe and know you are on the wrong side

They'd risk losing a very safe seat if someone steps aside for Burnham,
and they would almost guarantee losing the Manchester Mayor gig.
Let's get Angie in,  the tax affairs won't amount to much.
