Sad to see that and i give Starmer credit for backing what is right re Denmark. Bully boy tactics from Trump and other than the Chinese not much of a fight against tariffs from anyone,he shouldn't have gotten away with it a year ago.

Ah how can we forget, giving China the permission to build a spying centre in the middle of the city. That's how you stand up to bullies.

Many of you Trump fanboys aren't getting it,i have said it numerous times,he doesn't give a sheet about anyone else except 'him', your country comes before him and you should be backing Starmer not Trump.

How is it 'consequences of appeasement' Confused

It's because Starmer has opposed Trump taking Greenland.
By:

When: 17 Jan 26 20:36
Why would Russia want Trump in Greenland Donny ,you said we were Russian assets
By:
lapsy pa
When: 17 Jan 26 20:37
Everyone is opposing Trump 'taking'Greenland, you can try and reason why he should 'have' it but the defense and the single figure percentage of Greenlanders wanting US 'rule' would make that a fairly hard sell.

Trump wanting to taking Greenland.

Is a product of previous appeasement of trump(and others)

You Russian assets are encouraging Trump to split nato
by taking greenland

You don't need to be a teacher to see that

Not everyone brighter than you is a teacher
otherwise 99.99% of UK would be teachers.

Just as lapsy pa says - Trump is emboldened because his bullying has been rewarded thus far. So naturally he will try to go further.  But 29/30 people don’t live in America and it is not the job of their leaders to put America first.

The U.K. has tried to accommodate Trump, hoping he would be “alright with us.” But the USA has only one special relationship, with Israel.

On the contrary TON, you are now getting schooled in why Boris and co were devastated when Trump lost in 2019/20(?),they could have worked in a sleazy shambolic union even, Starmer and others are right with this stance and i would criticise him if deserved aka Palestine but stay true morally or it won't end well.
By:

I can't stand Starmer, just struggling to see how he is 'appeasing' Trump.

Starmer had his own stupid foreign policies that Trump doesn't support; 'recognizing' Palestine, a state that doesn't exist. Sending troops to Ukraine.....

But it makes no difference as Trump will do what he likes.

Trump is raising tariffs on 8 NATO allies because they rightly support Denmark's sovereignty in Greenland.

Destroying our closest alliances to take Greenland — which Denmark lets us use freely already — is insane.  Congress must say NO.

It seems Starmer is soon tootling off to China, and they are making him agree to their massive spy centre as a condition.

I'm sure all you bully haters will have plenty to say on that one.
