He's trying it on. What the BBC did was wrong and unprofessional. Nonetheless, it did not stop President Trump winning the election, did it? It showed little influence of the BBC on the American electorate; the unprofessionalism and twisted behaviour of the senior management at the BBC was an embarrassment.

May I suggest the senior people at the BBC should be asked to cough up for any remuneration for President Trump for their incompetence on this matter.

Well said.  Blame those who set the agenda.  The propaganda chiefs who have steered the BBC in a political directive.

It did not stop President Trump winning the election but it might stop him winning in 28.

Trump could run as a vice-presidential candidate in 2028, and if the elected president immediately resigned, Trump could take office by succession.

Seriously? I thought "succession" is only practised in horseracing in Ireland where the reserve runner will deputise if a declared runner does a houdini at the last second.

Why would anyone resign though after they successfully used Trump to get into the highest office?

FOYLES I'm sure you're well aware of this but the tv tax goons have no authority. No need to answer, no need to talk to them and most definitely do not invite them in. They will try to talk their way in.

Strange anyone let's anyone into their homes. The only people who pass my threshold are those that I know or who are doing work here. Everyone else stands at the doorstep, whatever the weather.

yes cider have watched several of those yootube vids ,tried to reply earlier but the mods stopped it (no swear words ) so no idea why , saw one vid where someone left a front door open for (think a young girl went out or something and the tv licence bloke walked right into the front room ! if you have one of those spy holes on your door they can try tricks like holding a parcel to get you to open the door but even if you open the door, just  i dont watch live tv etc say not interested and shut the door. ill update any visits or news .
was at my local supermarket a week or so ago and saw the headlines on a newspaper on the shelf estimated  bbc  24/7 cabs bill for  stars and staff this year up to 63 million pounds .

It's only families, vulnerable or low IQ types they play on. I don't have any fear of dropping my foot in it, so I engaged with him initially. Only as I was expecting a parcel and opened the door without checking. He tried some bull shine about coming in to verify that my aerials were unplugged, so he didn't have to come back. Yeah right Laugh

The take out is that there's nothing to fear, but you need to be on guard so to speak. I mean they are just earning a coin so I'm not aggressive or anything, it's not personal.

The BBC licence is great value for the price of a a pint.

The majority are not ok breaking the law just because they can get away with it.

As if I would care about what the majority are doing! It's not about the pocket money at all. I just don't want my pocket money lining the pockets off BBC types that hate England and most English people. Other people ae likely to have their own reasons. I'm happy to share my experience if it helps others.

Actually if you tell them you don't need one, it triggers a visit. They go to any addy that was paying the tax, then stops. Whether you inform them, or just cancel the dd.

Yeah, saying "I'm not paying my way" is such a weird flex. Ok, cheapskate. Remind me never to get in a round with you.

It's not neuro surgery. The bbc uses the funding it gets via a pseudo tax to push its high status agenda. I have no interest in assisting them in their project, not that they will miss my pennies.
