The politics market are moribund on Betfair.

US government shutdown market only traded a couple of £k, as it soon became obvious it was going to extend well beyond the 1 month maximum betfair had set it up as.

I contacted support last week asking them to put up another market going to Jan 31st or beyondm but they haven't so I'm guessing they're not interested.

yeah, exchange looking more grim by the month these days. volume and liquidity has been dropping in several markets that were previously some of betfairs only growing ones.

I still bet here, I'm over 10% of the volume on the 2028 election market, but since I joined PM in the summer I've started to prioritise that.

I've dabbled a bit on the Chile election there, dont know much but the tick sizes are a bit bigger so you have more room for error, and no fees and you get paid for putting up orders.
