It is an extraordinary situation.
Labour won a landslide and massive parliamentary majority, yet within a few months most of the populace seems to absolutely hate them and their policies. This incarnation of the Labour Party has somehow managed to create a tangible sense of doom and gloom across the country despite such an overwhelming recent victory. It is quite remarkable. |

Because they got fewer votes than they did when they were considered to have taken a kicking under corbyn.

They won a landslide thanks to Farage splitting the tory vote and that's it
They got fewer votes than under Corbyn, and they were winning a lot of seats by a few hundred, again thanks to Reform splitting the vote And that's down to people bring utterly dense and thick, "stop labour" yet the only way to stop labour was to vote Lib Dem (as an example) in a particular seat , that way Labour doesn't get the seat it goes Lib Dem... no instead they voted Reform thus handing Labour the seat by a few hundred... Reform taking say 2k votes... Labour wouldn't have got a majority if people voted with their heads, something the right wing influences on social media weren't telling their viewers. There were channels out there trying to advice people how to vote but were shadow banned... mhmmmm. |

new governments are always going to be disappointing. after brown the tories and lib dems brought in austerity - they never said they were going to do that during campaigning. who can forget nick clegg saying sorry?

If there's more cash at next election then how it's spent will help
form basis of election. If you want to raise taxes on poor peopke to give rich pensioners £300 then stick it in the manifesto. Meanwhile triple lock sees pensions rise by minimum of £1000 over course of parliament and likely closer to £2k |

With the upmost respect Lapsy, I think there's a bit more to it than that (regardless of the obvious non entity of a petition)
Labour discontent in their own party already having to defend winter fuel withdrawal that many didn't support in the party, concerns over the last budget impact on growth and potentially inflation by independent analysis.. I voted Labour - it was always going to be a tough take over but they've over painted gloom to the extent of talking down Britain to potential investors and have managed to score a couple of own goals already.... long term plans are all well and good until you're voted out before seeing them through... |

I have never voted in the UK till this year, i did though,things couldn't continue.
Labours delivery is poor to now,disgusted with Israel,not much 'pity' with the moans towards extra money for heating(triple lock) farmers inheritance (no, abused) The UK negotiator appointment to reset EU relationship is so telling,no Frost but a Barnier type,some path has been set by those v probably putting their signature to this petition and with grave mistrust from me,abject failure screams and just getting on probably better. |

Bat on private schools is popular. I would imagine taxing millionaire landowners is too but cancelling the winter fuel summer and collaborating with the Perpetrator's of the Genocide on Gaza will be harder if not impossible to forgive. If living standards don't improve Labour will be ejected next election |

The issue with the attack on farmers is ever so obvious, it gets them all, the genuine farmers as well as tax avoidance projects. It's achingly obvious why the concession is in place, farming is a vocation and a unique scenario. Compel families to sell up so they can pay the tax leads to the destruction of the countryside. Labour are also apparently giving away the same amount of money to foreign farmers that they are claiming will be raked in by the penal tax.

From what I've seen there's absolutely nothing in place to protect family farms, if they are over the threshold which is comparatively low for paper assets.

All they had to do was link it to where the individual got the majority of their income from, if actually producing food them they exempt. How difficult could it be ?
