It is really difficult to get the stats from different countries.
I think the concept of U.K. being far too high is correct & our conviction rate is terrible.
The whole beyond reasonable doubt when there are no witnesses , victims history is bought up in a trial (in the rare event case actually makes it to court) but the defendants history isn’t discussed.

Spain has recently had some high profile case’s regarding violence against women & what rape is.
Hardly surprising UAE is really low, is dangerous to report being a victim of rape there especially if the rapist is a local.


U.K. have been poor in recording in the past, in the thousands of child rapes by Pakistani grooming gangs the victims were not believed. A 15 year old child basically told not to cause trouble. Even now there have only been a handful of convictions.

Government website claims that there were no illegal boat crossings yesterday  (including uncontrolled landings) or the day before, or the day before that etc.  This is in direct contradiction to the video shown on GB news of a French boat escorting about 70 migrants through British waters.

3 Possible explanations:
1. GB News used stock footage of a previous migrant crossing.
2. The government are keeping the crossings secret this week while Macron is visiting.
3. The migrants were not even observed by UK coast guard/ border force.  (This is the most worrying possibility)

Any how, GB News say that nearly 700 crossed today and more likely to land before darkness.

No that is not how "One in one out works":

Under the new scheme, an illegal immigrant has to successfully cross the Channel (with a French boat escorting, just out of shot, like the emergency medics in Naked and Afraid).  Once in Dover, the illegal immigrant will say "It's a fair cop, guv. You can send me back (as far as Calais), but you now have to accept my friend who is a relative of someone in the UK".  Then the illegal gets a ride back to Dover on a cross channel ferry.  If the weather is favourable, he will probably try again tomorrow.

A criminal network that smuggled migrants from Britain to France in lorries claimed they "were simply doing the Government's job for them by transporting migrants out of Britain into France", a court heard.

Seven members of the London-based gang received sentences totalling 70 years in prison for conducting up to 20 runs from Dover to Calais between February and October 2023.

The operation represents a rare instance of reverse Channel crossings, with migrants being transported from the UK back to France.

Just out of interest can you explain how cost effective the current scheme is of British taxpayers paying out £8+ BILLION per year to have the illegals here (probably way higher now)? This is happening now under this Labour Government and it is getting more expensive due to them letting in even more. Add in what this Government has already given to France, how is that cost effective? The Tories were useless on illegal immigration and this Labour lot are even worse.
